This sounds familiar to me... May it be that you use "external binary morph targets" (You find this setting under preferences-->misc)? If so Poser will collect the morphs in an extra-file, the name is the same as your scene. As an example: If you save your scene as "My new image.pz3" you will find a "My new image.pmd" too in the same location where you saved your pz3. When I was new to those binary morph targets I deleted some of the pmd-files after rendering and when reopening the pz3 all morphs where gone, I had a standard V3 with standard clothes... But however, installing the service release 2 is a good idea, you'll get rid of a lot of problems.

Yep, I don't like "point at" too - first because if you look at real people closely you may see that in most cases their eyes have a very small "glitch" that causes something like a super-tiny crosseyed-effect or similar. But more important than this is the fact the different light settings cause a different effect with the eyes, too. With the default lights everything may look right, the character looks directly at the beholder (or has this "lost in thoughts" look... however you're desired effect may be). Then you delete the lights and add your own - and suddenly your figure has a completely different expression and seems to look into another direction. You go better with setting the camera, a rough eyepose, add the desired light and then adjust the eyes until they have the desired look and expression. Oh, and by the way: A Blackeyes-Update is a nice idea. May it contain support for some more characters or at least some hints for setting them up the right way (Jessi, Miki, Koji...)?

I like to work with "Jos by Shahara and "Mitch" by TamelaJ, both are HiRes (you may need to alter the textures-size when doing portraits)and very realistic.

As I said before: She's awesome, so real - much more than an attractive shape. In other words: She touches the heart as well as the eyes (but you know this term already ;o) ).

Thread: Art for sale in the digital world? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I sell about 25 percent of my images, most of them over a gallery that offers large canvas-prints via eBay, some over my own shop - and, as pakled mentioned, I'm doing art on request for that gallery. The funny thing is, that people buy it - but very few over the retail shop of the gallery, most of them prefer to purchase online. It seems that people are emberassed when buying pin-up and fetish art while facing real people (that are used to sell this kind of images) and like better to do it anonymus - although they pay a lot for shipping. The major group of those that come to the store are buyers that want the prints for their business (gastronomy and, yes, red-light things). Oh, yes, before you ask: Nope, I'm not rich ;o) I'm hardly able to pay the rent for my flat... But at least I have a job and like it. I've tried hard to find a gallery that is interested, most of the galerists answered: "Nice, but so... realistic! Can't you do something abstract in the fashionable interior-colors?!"...

Thread: How many lights does P6 allow/render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yep, there's a limit - but one could say, too, that this is kind of an enhancement. You don't need to mess around with a complete dome out of 70 near-black lights to get the illusion of sunlight or to add 24 lights to illuminate a room. Maybe I'm alone with my opinion, but I think the P6-lighting is the major enhancement and much closer to reality (and a lot easier to handle).

There's a second line, the pl-series. Very expensive, too, but they start at 900 Euro. I post the link, maybe it's of interest for someone here: PL-series

No, the Graphire has a painting area covered with foil. You can put soemthing under that foil and calk it. I owned a graphire for years, its still alive and my hubby uses it now, after I got an Intuos (4x5 - big enough for me and doesn't need too much place on the desk). I payed 189 Euro (add round about 18 percent to it for Dollar) after seeking a while. Most companies offered it for 250-299 Euro... One of the most handy features of the Intuos is that it does not only react on pressure but on tilting the pen, too (not all Graphic-Programs support this, but Photoshop does) if you choose this option for the brush in the graphic application. You recieve different pen-tips, too, for simulating different "real" tools. I saw that here in Europe Wacom is offering a shop for used products. Maybe you are lucky there?! You asked if the image is a monitor. Well, you can even get this ;o) They sale a monitor that is a graphic-tablet, too. It costs between 900 and 1600 Euro... ;o)

Hey... that's easy. It's something I heard a while ago in a local pub. Drunken man (while moving very close to a young girl): "Do I incommode you when I smoke?" Girl: "You even can't incommode me when you burn!"

Do you try to do the texture for any of the unimesh figures (V3, M3...)? In this case you may want to try the texture convertor sold by DAZ. It translates textures from V3 to V2 (M3 to M2 etc.) and vice versa. As the textures for the Daz figures of the first and second generation are splitted on the sides you have a whole back/hip area to paint on (amd new problems on legs and arms ;o) ). After you've done with that you can convert the texture to fit Unimesh figures. The process is a bit lossy but if you aren't satisfied you can use the result as a template anyway.

Thread: Setting a morph dial to 1 by using an injection pose | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Fine, I'm glad I could be helpful ;o) One last idea: I always keep a "cleaned" Version of the standard figures to add morphs to it (But be careful, don't overwrite your good old Victoria!). So I just have to do the morph-cleanout once.

Interesting question... I cleaned out the morphs of my character with morph-manager (freeware), what was fairly fast easy, and saved it back in this "reduced" version.
