This may be a stale thread but...recently, I've been using the Collada format for exporting from Poser 12 to Blender.ย I was actually surprised how much came over intact (IK, textures).ย The shader setup requires the most modification for me (proxy setup and material attributes).

It's actually more than I expected. There's a Daz<->Blender addon but that's a really roundabout way of working with Poser. So my hope is this addon gets some traction.

This a work in progress so don't expect the universe to be delivered to you on a platter with this addon. If any of you are devs/coders then head over to Github and chip in some code to help this guy out.

It's more about getting functionality into the addon than reporting issues at the moment. I've at least verified it works in Blender 2.9

New addon for Blender allows importing native props and characters from Poser. So far so good!

So far, so good on my Win X64. Nice to finally see Cycles in the render preview. Please integrate with blender so I can send my project to Blender for enhancements and rendering. Thanks.

In some ways, this feels more like a rant thread with some dashes of helpful requests, but I don't see the need for this thread if the Dev team ignores it. Again, possibly if (the devs) created a community bug database so that users can log issues and the dev team can simply approve or deny the bug/enhancement. Otherwise, this feels like a complete waste of time.

I feel sorry for the person at Bondware who has to go through 13+ forum pages in this wishlist and wade through all the comments separating the bitching from the actual requests. Whoever you are, my thanks and sympathies to you. Going forward, you might consider doing this as a bug/feature request form (like on Github) just to reduce the chatter and get to the meat of the topic.

Another wishlist item, integrate OpenImageDenoise into Superfly. I've been playing with it (in Blender) and it does a phenomenal job at very low samples. I've been able to reduce my render times significantly!

Thread: Just installed 11.2.289 and the library is messed up | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
I ran into this issue myself. A lot of content in my Poser 11 content folder went missing and could not be found when I was loading Poser projects.
I had to grab backups of my poser content libraries and copy them. I added LEGACY to each content folder name (e.g. "Legacy Poser 11 Content Folder").
I then installed 11.2 fresh (without specifying any previous content folders during install).
I then added my legacy content folders to my Poser 11.2 content library.
I was then able to load my projects without issue, but wow.

I also found that after the 11.2 upgrade, some of my poser content went missing. Luckily, I had mirrored my poser content onto my other computer. So I copied my mirrored content and placed it on my NAS in a legacy folder and added it to the Poser 11.2 content library. That solved a lot of headaches I was running into.
