Thread: unlock an object? | Forum: Bryce
I found that by hitting "select all" it selected the locked objects and I could unlock them. Thanks for your help too!

Thread: What are you better at? | Forum: 3D Modeling
Yea same here... but in Wings3D it's hard to do anything that isn't mechanical. I recently sent out for the Maya PLE and the tutorial DVD, hopefully I can get to work on some good organic modeling!
Thread: How did they turn out? | Forum: 3D Modeling
Hehe :). Windows 95, not exactly the fastest computer over here O_O. Rendering is a bitch for me, especially in Bryce.

Well I plan on going to an art school, that after a few years of general art classes, anatomy and basics... I can really get into visual effects and motion graphics with programs like LightWave and Maya. My goal is to work in motion pictures. I've been told that the difference between Lightwave, Maya and 3Ds is mostly personal preferance... And thanks to Quaestor for that link, I'll check out that learning edition for sure.
Thread: Some questions | Forum: Bryce
Ohh thanks, geesh that really helps when you're sharing a computer and you're doing a 2-3 day render. Peace and thanks again.
Thread: Question about posting to the galleries | Forum: Bryce
It should show up within seconds of your posting. I would try re-uploading it. If that doesn't work I would try it from another computer or reboot and try again.

Most of the dragons you are seeing is the Poser basic dragon I believe. Some of them are tweaked.Thread: Well, I'd just like to say hey | Forum: Bryce

Placing the cards didn't take long actually. I just continously grouped the next selection of cards and placed them on top of each other. I'm getting mixed views on the falling effect, Some people seem to have gotten it but others didn't really grasp it. As you'll notice in my upcoming work, I like to do really interesting camera angles and unusual close-ups. Right now I'm working in Poser for the first time, and honestly getting human-like positions (especially the one I'm trying to achieve) is a ton more difficult than I thought it would be. Even so, look forward to my upcoming work :). This community alone gives me an incentive to continue working, it's nice to know that I'll get feedback from people just like me and professionals in the scene. I'd also like to talk to somebody majored in graphics design and computer art in college, or is working in special effects/CGI today. Basically I'd like to know how you got there ;). Nice to be a part of the scene, thanks for your comments and peace!Thread: newbie dumb ouestion... | Forum: Bryce
