It was mainly effects of gravity i was after rather than touching. Thanks for the link, but i couldn't find the tool, or guide anyway. It went on a bit didn't it?! The magnets idea is a good one though. I saw the PAE one years ago, is that a good way? Also, i use Zbrush to make my morphs, and very good it is too. Thanks for your response every one.

Basically Hash isn't looking too good then is it? But Poser still needs to move on I think. I wasn't looking for a vicky/michael quality model, just something to persuade me that Poser can compete with the big guys. The Pro add on isn't it. I would have thought that CL would off read the various wish lists and gone from there. At its price, it is a fantastic piece of software. But Premier it aint. And it could be.

Now I dont understand this python thingy one bit. But heres a 'wish' from me. As I composite a lot of my animations with bryce, wouldn't be great if the shadows would become part of the alpha channel? Then I could place some transparent objects around the scene that match the the bryce scene, then hey presto!. Shadows. Also, objects in the foreground that allow parts of the poser scene to be clipped off.

It looks as though I'm alone then. I have noticed that when you look at the avi files properties, it says 'format unknown' maybe its time to update my codecs (any good site suggestions???) Oh, and Scott, you are an utter ar*#!@le ;)

The comments where in jest, but just in case....i'm sorry. ANYWAY. The uncompressed idea didn't work either!! Worth a try though, the problem must be a bit deeper than I thought. Like I said before, bryce, illusion, and premier seems to output working avi's, so it must be a poser thing. Oddly enough premier PLAYs the avis, but wont turn them back into another avi file. So what I am doing is this.... Outputting the film as BMP sequence in premier, then loading them back in ready for the conversion back to a working avi. This does work but adds to my work load somewhat. Kev, take no notice of me, i'm a sarcastic bastard but the humour is lost in these messages. I'll buy you a virtual drink one day.

Well excuse me for not being normal!!! tiffs may be common down your neck of the woods, but they do compress slightly, which will then be compressed again when converting to an avi. i am trying to maintain clarity here!! I have the capacity to work quickly with large files so thats how i do it. Thanks any way, at least someone was listening!!

I am new any animation and find the whole idea of benziers curve totally arse. I know you can edit afterwards, but a common sense approuch should be the default option. A simple turn of the head or a blink seems to result in grossly exagerated (i could never spell that) movements. This cant be right can it?? realistic body movements is what i want. After all isn't that what Poser is supposed to do???

Blimey!!!.....The kind of Lara I want and am working on has her fabulous curves but is essentially a typical poser model. I do not want her to look like the game character as such, because she is to be animated with other poser models. So far, I have created a rather impressive chest morph for the leotard ( my first attempt too!!) and found some glasses that go quite well. I have 'borrowed' PhilC's shorts and holster as well so I am nearly there. I still need conforming boots and a smaller backpack. I am going to paint the gloves on the texture and bump map it I think.

In the end I exported Poser animations as Tiff frames and loaded them into Premier. Then I just saved them out as an AVI. It does the job nicely. Although I would rather it worked ok from the off. Keep sugeesting though!!

Illusion is 2d partical generation program that thinks it's 3d. if you have open GL which i am sure u have, it renders fantastic special effects over avi files in real time.
