So does this mean going forward there won't be a perpetual activation requirement like the SM license system required?
Thread: What does everyone want from Poser from here on in? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
With the Kinect craz hitting everywhere I think that Poser needs to tighten its animation and motion capture abilities or be left behind. Daz Studio is promoting it ability to develp for the game engines.

Finally got a reply form tech support. Apparently Poser figures don't accept bvh facial mocap so it needs to be exported out of Zign Track in a PZ2 format.
Thread: Zign Track anyone buy this? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Its a cheap marker based facial mocap program. There is a video tutorial on going from Zign Track to Poser but this was done with v1.0 and now there is 2.0 that has been out for several years now. I have some questions but there doesn't seem to be any support forum. I wrote tech support but its been several days and still no reply.

I would go with 3D Coat as opposed to Silo. Silo is no longer being supported; just go by the forums and read the threads. 3D Coat on the other hand is being updated monthly. Silo still does not support a 64 bit version and no plans for the development of one. Something to consider on purchasing abondonware.

Does Poser Pro 2012 come with any stock scene animation? I'd like to use it as a benchmark to run some rendering comparisons.
Thread: FBX support | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I found this solution on the Unity forum. Looks like a standalone FBX converter from AutoDesk. Hope this works...

Is the Luxrender any faster than using Firefly? The Luxrender uses GPU to speed things up doesn't it?

I had a copy of Vue given to me free when I purchased Lightwave a few versions ago but now I can't find it. I think it was Infinite. Hummm...I wonder what ever happened to that disk!
I also have an older version of C4D around here somewhere. I never upgraded it at its just way too expensive. I think I stopped at 9.5
