Only two things that stick out to me.. the inside of the fireplace might need some lights to match what the fire would illuminate..and the rug seems a bit too dark to fit the rest of the scene. Else is awesome.

Renderosity lets you advertise in the showcase area for products you don't sell here? I'm surprised at that one.

Awesome idea. I love the POV and especially how the shadow appears on the wall. The one thing that I'd experiment with is the transparency. Maybe try some cloud textures for the transparency? This might give the dress a more wavey and natural look to it. To me, it's to uniform, aka round and stiff looking.

Hey susan! This site has a bamboo plant listed in the "indoor section"... which means it's probably not the variety you need. Might be ok for some background stuff. Maybe pakled could model up the stalks, and use these for the leaves?Thread: Don is okay | Forum: Bryce

For some reason, something makes me want that foreground tank to be less bulky. Everything from texture to detail is excellent. If I were going to try one thing, it would be to make the tank a tad smaller, and maybe even vertical. Top notch scene.

One thing to keep in mind, it's easier to draw emotion from an artwork if one can relate to it in some way. For example, someone might be more apt to enjoy abstracts, if they played with a kaleidescope when they were younger. Single men might not enjoy looking at a still life of a baby crib as much as mother would... etc... With that in mind, right now I just don't see enough elements to relate to. It's a dedication to Matthews, perhaps you can incorporate a cd into your scene in some way? Music notes? The title suggests "dreams" so how do you think you can convey that? Simple is good, but I think thus far this may be too simple. Btw, I love Dave Matthews too! "Where are you going" is in my list of top ten pop favorites of all time.
Thread: Exercise your right to vote | Forum: Bryce
I don't agree with the idea of voting for older works. I don't think that's what the feature is for. I'm just completely tired of negativity of late. Art has been fun for me up to this point. But now I'm beginning to dread even coming to the forum to see what whiney crap has been posted about the hot20, about pro-render, about comments, on and on.

Hi peggy. I believe rohi has used dogwaffle on some of his/her masterworks... so it's certainly capable... at least in the right hands!
