It's a shame that we have lost some members. We're trying everything we can to make this a GREAT and FUN place to be. Some members visit constantly day after day and some just come here from time-to-time. But, the members that come sporadic still LOVE Renderosity - no matter what anyone says! If they didn't, they wouldn't want to come here whatsoever. Am I right?
Thank you for being dedicated members to our site!
This statement is mostly inaccurate. Accounts in this place exist to keep our purchase history which is online backup of the money invested in products over the years for most of us and we try not being childish putting that at risk. Compared to loving the place this once was, being once eager to upload great art of our artists and promo teams, to engage into competitions and spending hundreds and hundreds a month - for some of us, now, this is only a backup place for money we gave into the products.
And that's where visits come from, products past and a few worthy present and upcoming. It's no longer for fun, it's no longer for art and it's no longer for this place as the community. We visit because we have stuff here, that we paid for.

What timing! Hello, everyone! Just popping in for a "sporadic" visit. Just wanted to say that I share Valzheimer's sentiment. Aside from showcasing friends' creations, that's the only other reason I have for my rare visits.

Those two are pretty much the same steps I t ake when painting hair. I think it should be easy enough to follow though it is in English (I'm hoping anyway). It will take some practice just like anything else but the more you do it, the easier it becomes.
P.S.
This is pretty good too - http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/tutorials/?qh=§ion=&q=hair#/djg3i9

Try this under Settings > Render Setting then move the slider up as shown below:
Make sure the max texture size is equal or bigger than the background size (as nruddock) mentioned.

Quote - Go to your Runtimelibraries!DAZ and run the DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat. Sometimes the initializer on the desktop doesn't work.
Oh and you must use the V4.2.cr2 that you installed and not some other one that you might have saved before initializing.
It doesn't matter at all which part of V4 is selected. The morphs are injected into the correct body part. And it makes no difference which ones you inject first. Hope you get it working.
This.
I had the same problem with the Elite Bodyshapes and re-ran the bat file and it worked. :)

Cheese and crackers, BB's reply was fine. Some people just have a problem with him that any attempt he makes to help out is seen in a negative light no matter how he puts it.

Much like FlyByNight, my hubby is my biggest fan and is useless whenever I ask him if a render looks okay when done - he always loves it. He always dives in and supports me all the way through and at times would play around whatever software I am obsessed with. He's a great writer and we feed off each other creatively.

Quote - Sivana & Rainfeather: The ratings aren't factored into the Art Charts.
Yep, you're right the rating is not what gets one to the art charts rather the number of people who has faved your work and added you to their watched list. Been in the arts charts a few times myself when I was actively posting here. I do understand what Sivana is getting at though. Back when I was new to rendo, I noticed the trend some people do of leaving as many comments as they can to those who have never heard of them in the hopes that they will in turn visit their gallery and put them in their watched list. It is quite common to see the same people leaving a cut and paste comment to almost every images posted good or bad. I think that is what she was getting at in which I have agreed to

I usually have my ratings off whenever I post anything here. One, it really doesn't work as it was originally intended and two, I have seen it abused time and time again. Yesterday, after a long break, I posted a render and forgot to turn it off. Seconds later, the comments came and I saw someone left me a rating. What I found amusing though is, the person left me a 1 rating yet nothing in the comments shows anything other than the usual "fantastic", "great render"..etc. Ratings don't mean much to me personally, and it is kinda sad to hear that some people do it to stay on top of the arts charts.
