The splines were converted to editable meshs. Exported as .3DS, but also tried .obj with the same result. The largest mesh is the Poser figure;Â perhaps I should backtrack and remove him from the total mesh, then re-export and try that. I've created several spline curves and lines and exported them with no problems. Thanks for your prompt reply to the posting.

Thread: Thinking about switching to Linux... | Forum: Community Center
Try "PC Linux OS"- it's derived from Mandrake Linux. I have used several versions, and compared to others it is the most "Windows-like" in my opinion. Very easy to migrate to. The Open Office apps work like a charm, and it's got many packages easy to download and install. Ubuntu is more like a Mac OS than most I've used, in case that interests you.

Thanks for the reply - I see Bryce and Vue images with Poser characters with hair that doesn't appear to be "postworked" in - how's that done?
Thread: e-bot notification still not working | Forum: Community Center
Stacey/staff:
I rarely have problems with Rendo mail/ebots notifications (had a RR email address for about 2 years now), but these folks are right- I'm getting bots days after someone posted on an image, and I sent some test mails both directions through here to my other addresses- some took 1/2 hour or better, some 15 min. This is certainly unusual.

Yes, that's how I'm doing it now, and it works great in Vue 4. I tried the raw files- just crashed the program.

It's an Italian site. Several R'osity members also exhibit there. The pic size is small, but they don't limit your number of uploads. Paul
Thread: Site is almost unbrowsable... | Forum: Community Center
I don't know if it's related, but I was getting a message in Mozilla Firefox yesterday stating too many requests were being sent to the server. I had to try to log onto Rendo several times. Paul

Thanks to both of you for the responses. I'll have to work on the grouping- and continue reading those tutorials!

Thanks for the info. I'm just trying to sort out some of the terminology and how it applies to the various apps.

I, for one, stop by your gallery and read some of the postings. This may be a little off -topic, but I once got hooked on an Australian series called "Tripods". It was during my "Who" period. It ran on on a local PBS station, and then ended abruptly; I was left hanging. Anywhere on the web to read a synop that would clue me as to how it ended? Paul
