OK, came in here looking for tips on how to make something look wet (which I found one page one), but the real score was reading Mapps' comments. Thanks! Both for the comments/advice and the materials.

I got both, but used VF Pro more as I found the interface easier to use. However, I recently suffered a HD crash and now can't reach their website to re-set up my program. (Guess I will have to get used to Phil's GUI.)

just got around to really messing with hair functionality, but i found your ideas interesting. looks like a LOT of work you put in.

Also, love the Wardrobe Wiz, but I find the Clothing Converter easier to use myself. Probably because it came out first and I got used to using it. lol

oh, YAY! Welcome back. I've not been around much myself, but it's so good to see you back and wanting to pose again.

V4 needs all the help she can get, but I'd love to see some poses with the basic poser figures like the G2 folks, Jessi, James, etc. And if you have any of the Sixus1 figures (several of which are free), I'd love to see what you could do with them. More monster/villian poses are always great.

And I still have your poses in my runtime. I just do the adjustments from fig to fig as necessary. :) I keep meaning to sit down and do a pose set for one of the Chinese Dragon-style figures out there, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I think you may be my incentive to get crackin'.

I like to have a lot of different models so that I can have several figures in a scene without looking like they all come from the the deepest, darkest Appalachian mountain family. (lol) So I got V4 to add to my collection. I don't know about those specific morphs, as I bought the basics, V4++, and the muscle morphs but have been really disappointed with her so far. Then I picked up A4 and found that she was a V4 morph set. Bleh!!!!

So, I decided not to buy anything else for her/them. If i can't make or transfer it for them, they don't get it. Managed to bring over a few pieces of clothing for the two of them without more than the usual pain and agony, so I thought, cool--not a total waste of a boatload of money.

Then I tried to build a texture for her. Holy bat shiza! It is, hands down THE WORST template setup I have EVER seen. A separate map to crosswalk between limbs, torso, and head with EVERY SINGLE PIECE set at a different ratio. Even the pieces on the same template. So the torso and ears are different sizes, and NEITHER ONE matches the head template. Or the limbs template. So I sat down to at least color code the seams to make matching things a tiny bit easier. MISTAKE! They cut her apart worse than Frankie's monster. Nothing lines up, the seams even seem to spiral around the limbs. Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

I give up. Miki may not be as 'classically' beautiful as Vic, but at least she isn't a nightmare to work with.

weird. there was one on there from my brother, which showed an unused balance of $25 dollars. I don't see it at all now.

actually, I think the 'holes' make the sweater look more realistic. Most fuzzy sweaters have 'holes' where they are knitted together. cool material. have to go look it up now...

Very cool. I picked it up on a whim as I, like Serge, haven't really done anything with Poser in quite a while and this looked promising. Glad to see a veteran likes it. I am pulling together a few sims now and am taking notes on all the lessons learned here. thanks, guys!
