...depends on the situation. If it is indeed something beyond control and not critical then yes it IS best to cope with the issue. But not all critical statements are whining and bitching...aka a weak form of communication. there are many situations when a person has a right and an obligation to speak up. Sadly the live with it attitude often masks behovior that is illegal, or dishonorable, or someone who is either too lazy or doesnt care enough to do the right thing or what they should do. Used to workj for a guy like that.....he never cared to spend the time to train anyone, or to see that alot of things were done along the company lines. If you had a problem or needed help or additional direction thats all you got from him. Later we found out that he was under investigation....and that he was doing alot of things that were very shady and got canned. I manage for a big retail chain, therefor i specialize in customer service everyday. When I see a company give poor service and act like they dont care...because they dont have to, i speak up. I rather naivly assume that they should and DO care and somewhere just missed the ball. That they WANT to be aprised of opportunites to improve. But sadly too many dont have to care, so they dont...and you just have to be happy with what you get. those are the places that lose my business and my referall. In the end thats all I can do, is vote with my $$. Even more sad is the places that dont seem to care when they lose a customer. After all, they exist for us not the other way around. Since you bought her on daz you know that there are tutorials there also...there are tutorials here...and at www.poserpros.com and www.runtimedna.com ...I have always very strongly felt that the main point is the artist...and helping get new artists going is more important than stupid selfish ideas of not mentioning other sites. i dont see other sites as competeing but as complimentary. By an adversary relationship the community and art is restricted...by working together it grows leaps and bounds. Scott

Firstly, my prayers are with Tori and her dad and family. What I consider CL did wrong was not answering Ritas questions in a timely manner. They may have been very much in the right but if the customer does not understand thewhy` and feels they are being slighted then the company needs to take an extra step. I appreciate that they took care of Rita and I will continue to promote Poser. I do hope that Cl does however learn a customer service lesson from this. Scott

I think what they are saying is that since she bought the upgrade from 4 to 5 if she upgrades again it must be from 5 to 6 and not from4. But since she sold her copy of 5 she cant upgrade from 5 anymore of course. And since she upgraded from 4 already she wasnt able to upgrade from 4 again. And despite what Tori has stated as far as I know this issue has NOT been long resolved and we are NOT misunderstanding the problem. Looks like we can get Rita an upgrade. But I still wont buy Poser6. At least not until I see a Poser6 image from Rita, and the bitter taste is gone. Scott

She has emailed digitalriver and has sent many emails to CL and has called CL. She is getting shuffled from one person to the next. She has sent a scan of her serial etc proving a legit purchase. It seriously concerns me that not one person at that company is willing to take hold of the situation and solve it. While it isnt the normal it does happen. Personally I can find lots of scifi and fantasy stuff....and lots of medieval western area stuff. What I need most is Japanese/oriental medieval era stuff. Castles....temples....houses....perhaps an expansion pak for samurai that has different texs so you can have a number os samurai in one pic. Boat....home furnishings, garden accessories. Thx, Scott
