Biull, Thanks for the advice. It was useful although it didn't quite do what I wanted it helped me to fiugure out what I did want! When it "dropped" figure to floor it seemed to have replaced the feet which messed up the animation. However I was able to use the translations it used to then go to the body and set the first frame at that y translation and now it seems to have taken care of the problem without messing up the entire animation.
And Winvdb, thanks, I thought of that, but I could see an x, y, z translation for the ground!?

Thank you also Phil C! That is another good idea. However if I wanted to sell the animation down the road as a bvh file would that work as a solution? As I said I still know very little about animation! Though I am enjoying it immensely already! Heather

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I have already start making the changes and she does stay in place now just have to figure out how to get the same look I was going for! Before I had enable the IK and made use of swinging the hips to drag things into place where I could!
So is there ever a place for moving the hips and what types of situations would that be? Thank you again for your help.

thanks. :-) Maybe I have been looking at it for too long! The good thing out of all this is I learned how to texture in Poser and Blender in five days!

But the problem now is it doesn't look like the tile is lined up exactly and the border looks off in close up. I will post a pic. If anyone can help my eyes are going funny after doing this for five days!

when I tried to open it- it looked liked gibberish to me! Let me know if I did it wrong? I saved the material and then I clicked on the png file that was created when I saved as a material and renamed it as a text. Thanks. H.

hmm I can''t seem to get it to save and scale at anything viewable or allowable in size here. Could it be because I am using a 32 inch screen or wouldn't that effect it? Thanks. H.
