Very clever indeed, but I can't get the bodysuit to conform without pokethrough. Is this a crosstalk issue? Also, why are the labels for the breast morphs in Sanskrit?

Toxie is really great at what he does but I can't believe what they did to Doc!

Ack, my apologies for misunderstanding, IsaoShi, but thank you very much (and everyone) for being so quick to help out! I'm going to self-educate on the XML file you're referring to, though. Sounds like being able to edit it would be very useful.
Well being impatient, I went ahead and re-installed. Got my dots back.
David I agree. They're helpful with workflow and it would be nice if they also saved other settings.

Thank you IsaoShi but unfortunately the GUI-saving thingie is one of the three memory dots tabs, hence I can't access it to bring the dots back. If I misunderstood you though, please let me know! :-)
"Actually, the memory dots may just be underneath the posing window. :)"
I wish they were, but I've moved all windows around ... they're nowhere. Not minimalized, not hiding, just gone, as best as I can detect.
FWIW I also tried restoring the interface to factory state ... still no dots. :-(

Thanks for so generously sharing your work. The shaders will go to good use and are sincerely appreciated.

Looking forward to bagginsbill's response, but in the meantime if it helps, there is a set of sequin fabric materials at Runtime DNA in their P6/P7 freebie section.

I like poisen's work too. It helps to fill the gap of a certain stylistic sensibility that diminished in the store when dreampaint pulled his products, not that the two modelers are exactly the same by any means, but if you know both artists' models, you know what I'm referring to.
the_hankster is a superb modeler. He specializes in brilliantly executed vehicles but his statue and rock props are beautifully detailed too.
For years quim2001 provided fantastic character/texture sets although he seems to have either slowed down considerably on releases, or is no longer making anything new, not sure, but his legacy products that are still in the store are great.
Also for character originality, odegami scores big points for his "Rikishi" figure and its accessories.
Unfortunately many of my favorite content providers from the not-so-distant past have either left, or have had many of their best (or in some cases all of their) products removed possibly due to lagging sales. I'm thinking of people like toshiyo, TT, B-man, Mechanismo, Ecstacy etc.
With some of the "survivors" it's just so weird to look at what's left of their stores, and to see the truly superior work completely gone. So it goes as time marches on, I suppose...

Hahahaha ... Hello Kitty sticky rice and a Keroin made of ... something green. These are the greatest!
Thread: Poser Dynamic Cloth Not Working | Forum: Vue
Apologies for reviving a dead thread, but I wanted to thank everyone who took time to try to help me again. I've tried so many techniques and nothing is working for animated sequences.
AVANZ, thanks for the "spawn morph" suggestion ... that is indeed working for single-frame dynamics, so I truly appreciate the advice.
Quote - It has not worked on a MAC for a long, long time....
E-on blames Poser, but if I import the same scene in an older version of Vue6 it still works!
Indeed it used to work for me but with the most recent/final update, it stopped again. Having looked around I see I'm not the only one who experienced the loss of functionality with the update.
Time to upgrade to 7 like everyone else I guess. :-) In the meantime, no dynamic cloth animations for me, only stills, but I can live with that.
Thread: M4 Cross-Eyed With Certain Head Morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
However ... I installed M4 after DAZ had already updated it to the current version. I wonder ... when you re-installed M4, did you uninstall it first? That shouldn't make a difference but sometimes it has for me with 3D software updates.
Also, and forgive me if this is too basic, but I've noticed that sometimes (P7/Mac) when loading certain textures or morphs to DAZ Millennium figures, the eyes appear to go wonky in the Main Camera viewport. Either cross-eyed or bug-eyed, but when I view the face using the Face Camera or actually render the image, it becomes clear that this is only a display error, not an actual issue with the mesh per se.
Best of luck with the problem!

Huge thanks to all for pitching in with helpful information. Still no success but I'm going to get back to it this coming weekend.
This really is the best 3D forum at Rendo. :-)

Thank you for the suggestions. Yeah, I learned a long time ago to turn external binary morphs off. :-) ArtPearl I tried your suggestion but when I re-imported the .obj file, it was a terrible mess. Do you happen to remember which boxes should be checked or un-checked when exporting the dynamic cloth as an .obj? I suspect that's where things went wrong.
I do indeed only need the final frame of the sequence, as the intended render is a still image in Vue, not an animation.
Thanks again ... I'll get this whipped even if it requires a complete re-install.
Thread: Poser Dynamic Cloth Not Working | Forum: Vue
A little more info about this problem. I made sure that each piece of dynamic cloth was parented properly in Poser. (I always do that anyway, even if not exporting.)
I've tried checking and un-checking each of the import options in the dialogue box that appears in Vue when importing the mesh. No combo seems to have any effect.
I've tried importing the entire animation and also only the final frame. The figure (in this case Victoria 3) imports just fine ... materials and animated poses are not a problem.
Only the dynamic cloth fails to import properly. It remains at its first frame, in the un-draped position throughout the entire animation sequence.
Poser 7.04.220 / Vue 6-60-04 Build 292470 (Pro Studio) / iMac w/2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo; 2GB RAM.
Any suggestions, hints, tech-y rants or helpful slaps upside the head appreciated. :-)

Thread: HELP with Rikishi by Odegami | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I bought Rikishi when I was using Poser 6 on a PC. I'm now using Poser 7 on a Mac and have no problem loading, posing, or rendering Rikishi.
