Can you tell us what EXACTLY has changed from the Sept 19th version we were told we needed to download and install because of the SM licensing servers being removed (which was 11.2.272) and this one (11.2.289)?

It would be very helpful to know what each of these .xxx version differences are.

Andy, what you are explaining is new in the PP11.2 update is appreciated. However, what we need is an ongoing list (as Miss B notes) that explains exactly what is changed from the last update. For example, there is a Product Update forum at HiveWire where posts are made when a product is updated, explaining what has changed. I know many Software companies do this as well.

Unlike phd, I know many of us (including myself do not have unlimited bandwidth and I have already incurred extra charges because of downloading the entire batch of zips (which, please do not get me wrong, are VERY appreciated :)). So I, for one, want to be more careful.

Knowing what's different in each iteration of both the Poser exe and the content zips would be very helpful in allowing us to decide what and when to download, as raven notes.

I didn't download the beta. It was the "official" files, which we were told to download and install so that we didn't lose our ability to use Poser...

And all the other extra files that you need to stick your s/n in to get.

As Ghostman noted, the Gorilla came out prior to Dusk SE, and I guess people who had Dusk SE and the Gorilla ALSO had the original Dusk installed, so no one ever reported errors - thus we didn't know about it at HiveWire to fix it.

We fixed the files. Those who bought the Gorilla from HiveWire can just re-download it from their accounts, and I believe the Poser zip has been updated as well now.

Yes, it is. All of the HiveWire products included in Poser Pro 11 are the original Poser zips of those files. The product zip files have been combined into several larger zips, but when you unzip those, you'll see the original product zips.

The HiveWire files are the ORIGINAL HiveWire zips, with a bunch of them zipped together inside of a NEW zip. All you need to do is look inside the new zip file to see what products are included.

If you previously purchased any of the items in the zip, they are the same ones you already have, UNLESS they have been updated since you last downloaded them. A look inside the ReadMe files will tell you when/what updates, if any, were made in the files you have.

For Dawn:

1-The file "HiveWire3D_DawnBaseFigureAndTextures.zip" contains all the original zip files needed for the Poser version Dawn SE figure. They will be the same named file as what you have.

2-The file "HiveWire3D_DawnBaseContent.zip" contains the Poser zip files for: Dawn Starter Morphs Dawn's Strapless Mini Dress Dawn's Skinny Jeans Dawn's Platform Pumps Dawn's Tank Top Dawn's Combat Boots Dawn's Every Day Poses

I installed this last night along with the new content, however, I don't see Dawn, Dusk, or the new horse. La Feme is there a bunch of other new stuff, but not Dawn, Dusk, or the Horse. ????

Those are there now. Click on Download Additional Content Files (License required), plug in your serial number for P11 and all the files will show up including the 6 HiveWire zips (Rendo combined a bunch of the products for the Poser download, so most of the zips will have the original HW zips inside of them)

HiveWire is NOT barring Genesis products, nor is this an attempt to "kill off DAZ" or kill off ANY figure..it's just a matter of focus, as Afrodite-Ohki said :)

Maybe I can make this clearer by quoting from LisaB's posts at HiveWire:

"Going forward from here we will be refining our focus to be primarily on our HiveWire Figure Collections which include our HW3D human and animal figures, Songbird Remix, Nature’s Wonders and Lisa’s Botanicals. As such, we will be retiring certain products and also modifying the types of products we will accept for inclusion in the store."

"We will accept products for the most recent Daz and Poser figures as long as they are included as an option with a product that is for our figures"

A slight correction. -

Both things you mentioned in the first paragraph have to do with products EXCLUSIVELY for Poser and DAZ Figures, not with products that also contain a version for the HiveWire figures like Dusk & Dawn.
