I have a couple of saved characters in a PZ3 format, so I'm exactly sure what I did to make it do this.
hard to tell - but sounds like maybe these characters only exist as elements of a scene ( pz3 )
where you might have some characters jumbled up.......sounds to me like the morphs ++ might be applied to someone else in the scene? someone invisible?
Maybe you can try working in a clean scene with a CR2:
Try this:
open the .pz3 that shows your character....click on the charachter to highlight any part of its body....save the character in the figures library
close the current scene.
open a brand new scene and load your character from the library ...make sure your character is the only one in the scene by deleting any default load figure that might pop up.
inject ++ morphs
dials should work

Thread: Question about Poser 7 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Summer what bucket size are you set for in the render options?
64? more? less?
Whatever it is set for -you might want to decrease the bucket size, lower bucket number renders draw on less memory ( but the renders take longer)

*But while there are many tutorials on lights, cameras, and so on, it's hard to find something about expressions. Maybe because each character is a different story?
*Its a very subjective area......I might find a certain smile on someone's face appealing while you do not

I rarely find the "built in " emotion dials useful. If I want the character to look surprised, for example, I would not go to the "surprised!" dial that you can find in Poser figures and the Daz figures morphs ++, these dials cause too much movement all over the face..... I find it better, for example,to lift the eyelids very very slightly with an eyelid only dial , or a magnet, and I would do the same for the eyebrows- slight lift with an eyebrow ony dial or a mag. You would be *surprised
*(ha ha ) how much better that subtle look is than the built in emotion dials

Thread: Parent the same prop to several figures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
OH the "attachments" are like the drink glass and the umbrella which are separate entities sitting on the prop : the table mask thingy (" *shut up and get me a drink, bitch !!!!! " ) *
I did not understand that.
NOW I see what your problem is / was
BTW I love that prop .......Just wondering if you considered resting the drink on top of the figures head - that is believed by some to be very convenient.

I think it would be helpful to selct a few polys fom the figure X's body and call them" base for character X", and make it a prop and dont bother to materialize it, move your prop (he he he) into position onto this base with your character X zeroed in the scene........... export an .obj, and select your prop and the "base" to be the parts of the .obj. ......name it "prop that fits character X". .......then you can bring it back in and save it in your library. When you load this prop, it will always fit character X snug as a bug.
repeat process for character's Y and Z, changing prop names as appropriate
Doc did I do good?
P.S. I might be totally wrong about what your goal is here....how about a hint ...can this prop be enjoyed by one, two, or more figures at one time?????

Thread: Displacement Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Why do you need to do this with a mask method.
Also - Is this the only displacement you want to do on the "head" Poser surface?

I don't know how MANLY you want the shirt to be..... but let me say that I use and really really like svdl's office clothing freebie for V.4... The (dynamic) blouse buttons and you can possibly scale and texture it to look like a guys shirt

right EB...... I think am not not actualy "injecting"..... I am writng a command line to go seek the PMD info, and I am misnomering this an "injection" file.
So what I need is a way to not rely on a PMD file that is created in and of itself for this purpose..... is that what y'all are saying?
