should i have to do all 3 coordinates?, because I try all 3 coordinates and what APPEARS to happen is - only one of them (usually X) has an effect , and the other two make no change on the other side. And my morph never gets fully mirrored
This is what i ineloquently have tried to explain, sorry..... ; - b

CAGE
I checked out your link to your free stuff.
how is your freebie for MAGZONE group restrictions different than - if I create a polygon group and leave out the polygons that I do not want to effect.
This thing you have might be very interesting
PROBLEM: if i make a polygon group that chooses, for instance, a large part of the figures butt cheek, but i do not include the polygons that start to come around the outsides of the butt cheek ( i want to morph the rearend to bubble straight back out, but not fatten it to the side)
what happens is i get some wierd stretching of the texture between the last set of polygons chosen and the polygons not chosen. Is your mag zone limiter something that i can use as an alternate method, i want to choose a PORTION of a body part, magnetize it, with no stretching away effect from the unchosen part of same body part
Thanks

I know but it is a horrible manual, the P7 reference guide is not much better. But you know this from a long time ago when you were a newbie.... ;-)

Hi Les- it is in the morphing tool menu, it is a button that says "mirror" you can click it any time during your use of the morphing brush, and the result for me is SOME of the morph gets mirrored over, even if i click x,y,and z.. Seems like what you say makes sense, but it doesn't give the expected result.
WELL NO MATTER, b/c I already have a much better option - i really stay away from the brush now, and I use magnets and your MM32 !

Thread: MORPHING experts please! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Brilliant, mate!
although I have learned much from your very same tutorial in the past...
what I was missing, in this case, was the fact that GROUPED POLYGONS are the target of magnet ZONE settings, and not the target of the MAGNET settings
as you point out in item 7.
With the body part selected use the Poser menu ObjectCreate Magnet to load a magnet into the scene.
Select the Magnet Zone and go to its properties panel.
Select the "Group" option
Thanks - problem solved!

Thread: Posing by dragging parts | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think theres a lot to be said for dragging parts with the maintain balance feature active on the figure.......that is , **if ** you drag very slightly and carefully.....you can get some very realistic full body adjustments that look very very much more realistic then I would have thought to do from my own imagination....Once again, it depends on your application though! this is totally not a precise posing method , so if you want precision, forget this. But if you want free flowing and very dynamic movements that will result in seriously realistic looking animation - trust me it rocks.

Thread: MM32, Mirrored Magnets Freebie. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
*"Create a magnet on the right hand side of the figure, then create a magnet on the corresponding left hand body part, Once the magnets have been created, apply the MM32 pose."
*LES this sounds awesome, i have a question.... after creating the magnet on the right, and after i set up this magnet 1field postitoning and sizing ETC., will i have to create the second magnet AND match all of these field and base postions myself before applying MM32 and doing the morphing? or will MM32 copy all of that mag1 set up for me....in other words I was hoping to only have to "create" the second magnet and then imediately apply MM32 as the very next step, with MM32 doing all of the "set up " work for the second magnet's field and base, magnet size and starting position., etc..
This is because I can spend an hour or more geting this set up and positioning of the field and base exactly how I want it !
Thanks

Thanks!
Yes this is what I mean, exactly.
Have you tried it?
