If someone is selling a Download, they are selling a Pirated Version.... providing others with links is supporting Piracy.

I will add that when it comes to others offering Poser as a Download, there were sellers of a Download Version and a burned disk version (they called it OEM overstock or EDU Overstock in most cases) provided a version that included Spyware, Malware, etc... I have not seen any with Poser 8, but they normally do not start with that until the new version is out. There are modified versions being made available through warez sites. These people pray on those that would lie, cheat, and steal. I find it ironic when a user of one of these illegal products complain about system issues.

In Poser, the Space Navigator is all you need. (unless you want to program buttons)  The higher end ones do not add any other functionality to Poser Users.

It takes some getting use to, but like others... I never touch the Camera controls... I only use it for the Camera, but you can use it for body manipulation as well as the cameras.

The latest version of the software is designed with the latest version of the Drivers for the various Video Cards. This is why you should have the latest Driver. With few exceptions, if you are using Poser 8 with SR3 and have a driver from early last year, you will want to update.

NOTE: It is not just the software. Sometimes the OS updates things that require a new Driver. This is why you should always keep your driver up to date. You can check the Readme. In some cases, if you have an older card, you will not need to update, because the update does not have any new files for your Card.

Drivers sometimes get corrupted. ATI and nVidia, both, have released some bad drivers in the past. You may just need to remove the device from your system using Device Manager, reboot, let windows find the device, then only install the latest Driver. That may fix the issue.

Formerly having obtained License for use of Trademark and Copyrighted Designs from a Automaker, I can say if the product appears to resemble any car ever made (I know this is very open) and especially if it contains a brand name or logo... but does not contain a License Statement in the Readme or License naming the manufacturer, run away from the model and do not try to use it in a commercial venture.

For the Automaker to continue to enforce their Trademark, the License Statement must be included and normally is required to be included with any end user work, along with compensation and approval in most cases.

My experience was for a Ford Dealer Commercial and because we created a Model of the car, we had to get permission from Ford. I decided to take it a step farther, with plans on selling the model and the requirements for both me (Up front License Fees, plus a per sale fee) and the end user (authorization of release of work and per use fee) I never did sell the model.

If you want to see an example of the statements, go to any Hobby Store and read a Car Model Box... most have the License statement printed on the Box.

In the cases I have seen that were specific to a Model, is there was some sort of corruption in the Mesh of the Model.

If it happens with all models, it was a corruption of the installation.

A derivative is something that comes from modification of an existing product. Copyright has nothing to do with it. The Content you purchase is Licensed to you for your use and by accepting the License, you agree not to use any portion of the model, or derivatives of the model in any redistributed format. (Period)

If the Mesh is not Visible, it will not be considered in the Collision.

If you are not looking for extreme, there is the Muscular Full Body Morphs for the figures included in Poser.

Best advice is Go see your Doctor....  Poser Forum is not really the best place to get Medical Opinions....

Yes, if you are just using Poser to create BVH, you could go with Poser 8 and skip Poser Pro 2010.

If I understand correctly, you missed the remark where I mentioned I own P6 (but didn't "get along with it" very well). So, assuming I misunderstood your remark, are you saying I should NOT sidegrade to P2010?  It's $249.
