Poser 5 hates me. I loaded the SR 3, and it was lockup city. Can't make the simplest render anymore, and it was bad enough BEFORE SR 3. So I emailed tech support at CL. Got reply days later that said basically "have you upgraded to SR 3?" I wrote back and said "yes, I told you that I did in the original email". Got another reply back yesterday that said "well, is it just with "our" figures, because we don't guarantee P5 works with others". Excellent. Kind of limiting to only be able to work with the native figures. ::sigh:: Anyway, I am going to cross my fingers on Daz Studio, because I don't think I will be buying anything more from CL. I have been very patient with the whole Poser 5 mess, but enough is enough. I am glad some people can use it, but I can't. ::sigh::

Installed it, loaded simple scene, rendered it 4 times with different light setups, and got complete lockup on the 4th render. I give up and am going back to Pro Pack until the next service release comes out. ::grumble:: On the plus side, things did seem to load faster. Until the lockup of course. :(

I like Poser 4 and Vue because they play well together. :) You can import Poser 4 scenes right into Vue, textures and all. Importing into Bryce is harder. I don't even want to talk about Poser 5. In spite of all the updates it still does not run right on my system, and I have given up on using it. :(

::sigh:: Guess my credit card won't be able to cool off after all. :)
