"The Dragon has an infamous degenerate face" Electroglyph, watch it! Humans are crunchy, and go good with ketchup!

Hmmm... I was gonna say, I've never had a problem with the Mil Dragon. But I'm using Poser 5, although it's got to be the worst application ever...

I make 50% of my income using Bryce and Photoshop, Jocko. It's not the artwork I'm analyzing, it's your ridiculous methods. The Hot 20 IS a showcase of Brycean artwork. And you fill it with beginner works, either by logging in and voting over and over under different names, or by convincing your friends to do so. I don't care if you stop or not, do what you like. I think your Bryce stuff is mostly garbage, but you ARE improving, which is what's important. I've already been banned once because of you, and I'm not going to stop speaking my mind now. I WANT you to post your artwork. Makes MY garbage look that much better. Perhaps I will one day be promoted to "trash"!?!?

Groin, my lover's friend makes jewlery professionally, and when I showed her my Rhino demo she freaked out... Now she's in the process of getting money together for a prototyper, nothing HUGE, we'll still do it all in the lost-wax fashion. But, she did have the decency to get Rhino 2 for me, and now I'm using it for all of my modeling outside of Maya. Cool thing is, Rhino and Maya model almost identically, so my year with Rhino helped prep me for Maya. As we get closer to purchasing the prototyper, I'll make it very available to all of us. It will be a lot of fun! It's not just a dream... It's going to happen within a year.

Jocko, you will be fine, as a Bryce artist, with much practice and dedication. It's not your artwork which is under fire. There are many beginners in the Bryce galleries. Bryce is a beginner 3D application, period. There are no cheaper applications that do what Bryce can do. It's the fake friends that you have voting for you that bothers me. And your arrogance. I honestly believe you belong in the Beginner Gallery, but that's your decision. I don't dislike your artwork, it's just not a good showcase of what Bryce can do, at all. Not even remotely. Before anyone says, "That's YOUR opinion, LSD!", I will state, again : Of course it's my opinion. I wrote it. It matters not wether it's fact or opinion. It's been stated.

Aye, Erlik, they hold the gem in from it's angles. The files are terribly accurate, down to sizing and spacing. The gems would work perfectly with fittings such as these. I've made a lot of jewelry in real life. I look forward to rapid prototyping my Rhino jewlery in a few months...

Aye, I often cross-post at 3DCommune. They are pretty cool over there, although the Renderosity site is much more powerful and easy to use... But there are some people there who just don't come here, for whatever reason. I like talking to them.

Aye, that's what it was! I remember it happening on my image of the man dead on his desk, and that one had loads of glass... But as the object count increased, I gave up on Soft Shadows in exchange for actually being able to render the thing in less than a year... And the four candles allowed enough interplay of hard shadows that it wasn't too bad...

It's both a bug and just a technical problem. Have you tried turning up the Ray-Depth? I actually think it was a light-gel problem... let me go back and check...
