What gives? I went to d/l the old remapped goodies - they download, but the zips are empty.
Is it just me? I had all of them at one time, but can't find them among all the CDs.

I too was a hold out. I didn't like paying $ to get get cheap goods... But I finally decided to go for it.
And am I glad! I've gotten some wonderful things from Daz. It seems expensive at first, but in the end you get a lot for your money.

I think EdgeNet was a neon green sign - or maybe it was leftover from PFO.
I still have that fabulous render by 'RAD' - it was posette and it was Black & White - 'Coquette' if I remember.... i'd include it here, but I don't need any trouble from anyone.
I was lurking at the time 'Law Girl' and 'Law Boy' had just come out.

I believe you can lock the body and/or the head before you apply the pose.
I know this from purchased poses - they change the rotation of the body, and usually mess up the head and expression.
I always have to lock the eyes so that they don't change position.

I'm so very pleased with P4 & Pro Pack.
But I bought P5 and had to jump through hoops to get the SN# to work. That made me so angry!!! I opened it once and hated it. Then I got P6 at a great upgrade deal. But I have a big problem with rooms. Face room, hair room, etc. I hated Bryce for the same reason.
Bought Vue and everything was there - while the scene was on my screen. No rooms to change back and forth. I LOVED it!
I'm thinking of going for P7 - but if it's as convoluted as P6 i'll pass. The 'node' thing just turns me off. Plus the default characters are ugly as hell (except for P6 James).
I'd rather spend my money at Daz as V2,3 & 4 can go everywhere. And the content is so well made. Besides, I put my characters into Vue 4 & 5 for more interesting scenes. The Poser studio is just too small for my adventures.

I thought for sure you'd all banish me from this forum! While everyone is looking forward to V4, I've found Voluptous Vicki and all her clothes... pluse all the Posette textures from Happy World Land.
All the old Varish hair still looks great! As do Anton's Pop Stars, and Changing Fantasy Suits.
I'm ready to install another Poser just for all this old stuff.
I too remember when people were trying to outdo each other making textures and discovering new inventions like the MillNull to avoid cross talk. All for free.That was way before Victoria 1. And when V1 came out everyone hated her! She was so ugly... Same with V2, And now she is the most lovely of them all.
Glad to see there is still interest for V2 - You all have great taste, LOL!

The Life Jacket has a problem... it won't load. Out of Memory msg.
Plus it's a figure, and I can't imagine sizing it up to fit M3. It was made for the P4 man. That's quite a stretch.
So my original offer still stands.
