My bio, as if it matters. BIOIf there is one constancy in my life it is writing. I have dabbled in art, both 2D and 3D, but am wise enough to know that the visual arts are not my forte. So while I may dabble in Poser, or Vue, or 3D modeling it is and will always remain just that dabbling. Enjoyable to be sure, but not my creative passion. What I really like to do is write.
I was first drawn to Poser do illustrations, or more properly, visualizations of story settings, characters, and concepts. That in turn lead me to Renderosity, which in turn lead me to Vue, and 3D modeling. Unfortunately it soon became apparent that I was spending far too much time on trying to master the graphics that I was neglecting the writing not a good thing for a writer.
So now I have, in a sense, come home. I now rarely use my 3D applications (though I try to stay abreast of Wings 3D) and spend almost all of my time here at Renderosity in the Writer's Forum. There I have met some extraordinary people and come to regard quite a few of them as friends though we've never met. Thanks, Crescent, for starting the Writer's Forum. It has become my true home at Renderosity.
I'd also like to acknowledge two other people over in the Writer's Forum, dialyn and tjames. Dialyn is one of those special people you meet on-line who goes above and beyond the call of duty; ever helpful, always encouraging. And tjames is the guy responsible for me delving into poetry, something I had never done before answering his poetry challenges. Now I find I enjoy writing poetry very much. A sincere thanks to both of you.
You can see some of my stuff here in my gallery or by delving into the forum archives. For a more complete collection of my poems, short stories and essays visit my home page at http://www.omnivores.org
