Thread: June Challenge Entry | Forum: Bryce
Lots of details. The touch with having the scene on the monitor is great! But your choice of cellularphones are really bad. Ericsson...??? Why not buy a Nokia instead? Or one of my Neurophones? Theyre really cheap... :) Seriously! Great work!

Hey! Great work on this. Love the details on that clock. If its not posted before, i think its ok to enter the challenge. What say the rest of you? Just a suggestion. Why not add some specularity on the Coke-can.

Great work! Lots of details, but my favourite is those PostIts. What should we do without them! :) Hey! I can actually read your handwriting... :)

Thread: How well does Bryce work in XP? | Forum: Bryce
I do agree with Rayraz about XP. And who needs 400 new skins to mediaplayer anyway... Only reason for using it, is because of that memory-handling thing. BTW, theres actually a way to get rid of some crap installed. Some stuff is hidden in the uninstaller. Go to the c:/windows/inf and locate the file "sysoc.inf". Open it up with wordpad and delete all the words "hidden". ONLY THE ACTUAL WORDS, NOTHING ELSE!!! Save, and now you can see new stuff in the uninstaller.

Im running Bryce 5 on XP Pro, and it works very well. It even renders slightly faster because XP handles memory better than win98. AND...no lockups! :) Make sure you have a minimum of 512 mb RAM. I dont know about the Home-edition though...

Those spheres are just simple default rendering. Just wanted to give an example of what simple lighting can do. I also render stuff when im sleeping. The best way to go. Whats TIR anyway? (I suck with terms...)

Thread: Bryce Forum's May Challenge Voting!!! - "The Duel" - Vote Here!!! | Forum: Bryce
Had a tough decision to make here! This is all truly great pieces of art with lots of effort behind them. The point of this challenge was to push our own abilities to max and get the most out of Bryce, and the one that really does it is Humorix piece. To create human characters within Bryce AND make them look this good, is pushing its limits to maximum and beyond. My vote goes to Humorix. (but i agree with Atomic Anvil about that runner-up...) :)

Rendering with a higher resolution is a good thing if its for printing purposes. Reducing the size before printing will push the pixels together. However, for posting here its pointless.
