hauksdottir: Like i said still way WIP.. i'm just getting basic shapes donw :) i do however plan to split the chest piece in half and model straps :) just not that far along yet sa with the vision in my head i need to get other stuff done so that i don't have problems with the straps being in the same place as other pieces (don't wanna hide the details) :) logansfury : Wow michael and vicky are free? ... odd i never saw that in the daz newsletter ... must have skipped that one.. maybe i'll look into it. Still have the issue of loading a super hi-res figure then covering the whole thing in realistic hi poly count armour ... just seems like a waste to me :) I have Aiko.. i don't like her face or body at all ... i know she was designed to be an anime character .. and realism wasn't the heart of her .. but .. something about her bugs me and i don't quite know what it is. Once i get this piece finnished i'll look at what i want to do next ... but ask logan guys it could take me a while :)

I wouldn't mind modling for her since technically stuff for her sells. but, most stuff for her you have to buy... i could easilly spend $2000 on daz figures and items for them. I just don't have that kind of cash.

And honestly .. i played with vicky 2 on a friends pc .. she's got some really nice morphs i'd love to see in posette .. but .. for the most part that's it .. i don't overly care for her. Posette's always been my favorite :)

I don't modle for daz figures (can't afford em)
i just did a set of real fully modled (not bumpmapped and transmaped but actual scales) scale mail for posette in the free stuff.

yeah traveler made the ones i originally had and really really liked ... unfortunately the only way to get them now is to buy his cd for $45. :(

Actually i've fought with a scutum believe it or not :) i fight in the sca and even make my own leather armour. The scutum is a little more curved than it looks .. the trim makes it look flatter than it is .. but i agree it could probably use a little more bend... sounds like a good morph target! I built handles on the back side of the shields .. just wasn't comfortable enough modling straps..

lol they make her feet look big .. poset whined at me for an hour about how big her feet looked .. originally this project stopped over a year ago because i forgot to make the boots... and didn't feel like at the time re building the shins to fit over boots, and then my hard drive crashed and i lost all the poser versions so i had to start the poser process over as all i had were the rhino files .. i'm actually glad it's done .. and hope you uys enjoy it.

She doesn't have bare feet .. she has boots. good luck making boots to fit under thos shin guards :) I have a bunch of swrods, daggers, axes, ect i was working on long ago too .. even a morphing bow .. maybe i'll dust them off too...

ROFL ok well right now i'm re-uploading it as when i tried to upload the corrected readme i seem to have corrupted the file.. It will be in the downloads area here and at another site .. (not too sure on what the rules are for mentioning other sites and theres history between the two sites but i have friends there too) I have no qualms at all about texture artists texturing the modles.. i did my best to uvmap it to make it easy to texture and have included the texture templates for that very purpose.
