I just tested this. Once you have loaded the dynamic clothing item (beach dress). Go to the cloth room, create new simulator, set collisions and then hit 'calculate simulation' Poser 5 will drap the clothing over and around the body. That is the quick and dirty explanation.

I feel that it should not do that. As an application developer, I feel that programs should be efficient in the use system resources. This means you need quality in design and production. However, quality takes time. In this business market, applications a extremely rushed to market and quality is tossed out the window, run over, burned to a crisp, thrown into a river, and the river is hurled into deep space. Poser should not take 100% cpu usage waiting for us, but it does. You will need to complain to Curious Labs for any change to the situation.

I have notice that as well. It only takes all the cpu usage when it not waiting for you. (ie, minimized and rendering) Here is my theory. Poser does that by design. It is waiting for you to move something or load something. It takes all the cpu time checking to see if you have moved something. It also has to continully update the screen with its very memory intensive graphic interface. It would take all the cpu usage for faster response time. That is my theory.

Mac, I can see your point about it not being a bug. However, when I first enountered, I assumed that Poser 5 would have that functionality. So in my thinking, that when alternate geom. morphs do not display properly, I thought it was a bug. It was only after I made the post that I learned that Poser 5 never had that functionality. Hopefully you will be able to see why I used the title. Now I can see that problem would be the better title. However, Poser 5 should have morph distinction for the alternate geom. Curious Labs should not have omitted that. In my opinion, Poser 5 should have remained in development a while longer to fix all the problems.

Thanks for answering so fast, Anton. I am already in the process of renaming the morphs. But at least I know that Poser 5 was not designed for changing geometry. Hopefully they will fix it. Otherwise changing geometry, a powerful technique, will fall to the wayside never to be used.

That is not a remapped vicki. I have been working a on trying to get a large tattoo across the seems for quite some time. Bikermouse, Thank you for comments they have helped. A lot of people do post work in a graphics program like Adobe Photoshop or Jasc PaintShop Pro. Your computer should handle the multiple characters that you want. It could be your Operating System.

I have to agree with ronknights. Having people rename file extentions and using Mover is begging for problems. Also, Mover has commerical restrictions. That will cause even more problems. The solution should not cause more problems than the original problem. It is a nice idea for advanced users. But, beginners are going to have problems and we will see an endless amount of forum post of people asking questions.
