The model and the clothing will be one object if you import as one object in OBJ format. The clothing should deform along with say the arms and legs etc. For finner control you could add extra smaller bones to the parts of the clothing that you want to move. For example a skirt add the bones to the skirt to make it move and flex. Ringo

Sorry, but it isn't possible. But you can cloth victoria in Poser bring the obj in to CS2 and add bones to them. Ringo

Boy, I sure do remember. ;-) If I may compare the C2 workflow setting to C4DXL7 I can tell you that in C2 you get GI/Radiosity images render setup and render much faster than in C4DXL7. :-) Ringo

The skylight can be adjusted but also remember that if you have a dark blue sky your scene will be lite with that darkblue or what ever color you have for the sky or background.Use a combo of lights a low setting in the skylight and maybe a bulb or infinite light. A bit of practice will get you a great render. For glowing objects use the Multiply in the shader and use the new "Scale" slider and not the "value" slider. This will give you much brighter lights Ringo

When doing GI renders it's best if you reduce your light setting to less than 100 ,try 50, 60. Spotlight are the fasters to render. Also if you have glass stuff it it very important that you have a proper glass texture or the objects will have this white hot spots that glow. The sum of the Transp, Color and reflection should be equal to 100 if it is over 100 it will have really HOT white spots. In the render room use photons 100,000 and 40%. Let me know if this helps you. Ringo

Hello, some of the grammer and typos in the new viewlett tutorial are my mistakes. I created the tutorials. Eovia was going to run a spell checker on them but i guess some of the little critters were not corrected. Anyways I hope you find the new tutorials useful Ringo Monfort
Thread: Carrara users - got some questions | Forum: Carrara
Hi, Chris. No facial animation with slider an no sound support for the bones. But can add bonds to the face and animate them. But the bone systems is very easy to setup and manipulate. Maybe in version 3 you will see the other stuff. Ringo

Thread: Bones... some questions... (Litst or others familiar with C2) | Forum: Carrara
They should be excellent for positioning the models and you can also resize the bones to make changes in the mesh"muscles" It all depends on how you created the skeleton and if you added the bones to the part you want to modefied. You can also create a library of skeletons that you can keep on using. Ringo
