The "Flare" tut I mentioned I am sure I found at an indevidual's site and haven't seen it since (last fall) but there is also a tut at NerdStuff on "Censor Stars" that uses spheres to do a simular effect to make Censorship stars. By playing with the two methods and tweeking things around you can make some cool optical effects right in Poser. For the flare effect I forgot to mention it works best with the 'flare' light positioned Behind the cammera. So from the center of the scene it would be: 1- Object to be centered in flare 2- Transparent panel to generate the flare 3- Camera 4- Light aimed at 'flare panel' Then just tweek the angles and distances

american_astronomer, at home now but neither of the tuts I have did the fine auther sign his work...?! The one I found most useful included a PZ3 example. The technique is actually quite simple. It involves placing a square or circle between a light and your model, apply a chosen 2D-flare and set the obj's transparancy to MAX (or adj to taste). Then just adjust the light/panel's angle to obtain the desired 'flare-effect'. I used it in a pic posted at:Thread: Is this possible with Bryce... | Forum: Bryce
"Top/Front"? I have looked for that option in Bryce4 and don't see it? Now I haven't tried editing the texture "size" wise, kinda didn't think that should be needed on an object that is using it's native UV mapped text with no other alterations needed...I'll try it. Mark, did you find what you where looking for? I still can't locate the tutorial that I once used that made it so clear but there is a very good one (actually that I remember) just can't find 'which' ones to let you know thier author(s)

There are decent flare effects for Poser too, check the tutorials section, sorry, not at my own machine now and auther did not sign his tut..

Looks like some of your objects need the Transparancy map applied (hair & fire). There is also a great (actually a couple) tutorials for applying Poser Textures into Bryce. Check the tut link at the top of this page. I did recently run inot one glitch within Bryce, see my post in Bryce forum "Bitmap Bummers" ->still no answers yet...

"top/front/side" ; don't remember seeing that one, I'll look again. I did try different settings in the materail editor and found no resolution. But I have used the same throne before without this happening.

You have an even bigger bug! All the words in the menue bar are scrabled ;-) Think of it this way, when you open a "PZ3" you are opening someone elses actual saved Project, lights, props, and all. If you delete the light then you will have to reset the others to what 'you want' the scene to be. 'Negative' light for better shadows? I'll have to play with this one :-)

Chillingly eerie, what happens at Midnight and your 'Poser Double' wants to Change Places With You???!! (very nice job!!)

Eve4 can use any P4 texture and Traveler has recently also posted some good ones on MorphWorld.

Nice texture, but "The Never Ending Story - DAZ's book"? That title sounds more like the cronicals of "My Divorce Story" ;-) (sorry, couldn't resist..... GREAT Texture - yes, I love the story too)
