Hi, you should ask your question over to CP's forum. There are many Apollo users that can answer your question.:[3D Content & Characters

Quote - How can you save Apollo so he has morphs so you can transfer them to clothing? I set some of the body morphs and then saved the character to the library, but when I load him into Morph Manager the only morphs he has are head morphs.
thanks.
Thread: M3 to P4 Male skin texturing?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Search the Freebie for Dp Hoadley's "Duke." Duke is p4male that can wear M3 textures.
I created a new face for P4male to go with it, also called "Duke."
Duke morph:

And here's dphoadley's page:

Uh -oh... I don't see the remapped P4male listed. ^^;
Maybe you should write dphoadley?
Thread: M4's hip rotation off balance? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Isn't distributing a pose with the rotation on the BODY instead of hip problematic and should be avoided by all good Pose artists?
Thread: My big rigging secret!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Sure, may as well do all the poser models, once the rigg is complete it's fairly simple to adapt it to each model.
Ooooo Can't wait! jump jump ^^

That sounds awesome! ^^
If you do it, make 2 versions of the Cr2: One that is the base, and one that has the morphs.
RTE separately each version.
Will you try Mik2 and G2 males also?
OMG, i would so love a good posing Koji. ^^

Thank you for all these wonderful tips! I have been struggling making morphs the hard way all this time! I use the original Obj, and avoid unwelded figures. ^^;;;
I will try these programs and apps. I need to buy an Intel Mac, so hopefully I can use some of these PC apps on Mac with BootCamp or some other OS emulator. ^^;
Another handy app to have is STOMP by Spanky, -- it cleans up the obj materials and speeds up render time. ^^
3D Coat is another PC only app? It sounds like it's user friendly (Zbrush is not, of that UI... rolls over) Blacksmith does some cool things, and easy to use, but I am interested in retopology and other ways of morphing. I will check it out. ^^

Quote - Thanks for the thread link, that part about morphing tool morphs ignoring the joint deformations is very interesting. I had found another way around the joint deformations with morphs. What I do is export a copy of the figure posed and a copy of the figure not posed, then I import the posed figure into Zbrush and put into a layer, then I create my morphs on the posed figure so I know exactly what they will do withe the bent joint, then I create a new layer and import the unposed figure into that and transfer only the moved vertices to the unposed figure, and this way you have a morph that behaves correctly with the joint bends. The morphing tool sounds very interesting though and I have not worked with it much but I will.
Hmm... This sounds interesting. If you are using a posed figure, does that mean you are working on a unwelded figure? Won't it cause problems to morph across groups of an unwelded figure?

I am still going to release brad and If I can get these riggs finished I will release them too, I found out that you can also use Dimension3D's morphing clothes to transfer the morphs over from V4 to my rerigged V4 with no problem at all and very fast too. So it's very doable. I am working out this new rigg right now, hoprfully be done shortly. also I start back to work at my regular job at the end of this month, and that will give me alot more time to get back to work on all my own stuff, can't wait.
YEA! happy dance ^^
I haven't picked up Dimension3D's clothing morph transfer app since it is PC only, but I may have to try it if it works as well as you say it does. ^^
I'm happy to hear your work situation is getting better. ^^

My rigging inovations are really pretty simple, alot of it is just using the poser rigging in ways that were never intended but it works. The hip thing was an accident I thought my cr2 was broken but found the results to be very beneficial. LOL Anyway I don't really care if everyone knows how to do these things, that's the thing about knoweledge, you can never really keep it for yourself or it's useless.
It was an accident? A very happy accident! ^^ Who would have of thought rigging that way? -^
Thanks for sharing your diagram, I think I understand. You must have done a lot of experiments to find what works and what doesn't. You should give yourself more credit, it's really cool! I look forward to your releases. ^^

Oh wow, the Scoop! oO!
Sorry, I'm late to this thread. Wow... this is such impressive work!
Phantom3D, I hope you have not given-up on the idea of releasing your male figure Brad, (whether you choose to do it as product or a freebie). I think 90% people wouldn't be able to figure out your innovative your rig and mimic it for themselves. That's why we are more than willing to pay you for your expertise. -^
If you ever get the idea of releasing new rigs for other models such as M3 (makes pleading sad puppy dog eyes), I would slap down good money to buy it! You could call it: PhantomM3! ^^ <3
Perhaps if you do that, PhilC could make a WW plug-in for PhantomM3. Then clothing could be easily be converted to the new rig. And perhaps a new version of Universal Morph Transfer, could convert existing morphs/groups to the new Phantom morph/groups. I think it's totally do-able! UMT works by converting Group 1 Gen 3 figure morphs (V3,SP,D3,L3,B3) to Group 2 Gen 3 figure morphs (M3, Freak). I don't think it be that difficult to convert Injection morphs to the new Phantom groups. It's already been done once! ^^
I would be very happy to spend lots of money in the Phantom3D store for your excellent new figures like Brad, or for any new rigs on other figures. ^^
Well done! ^^
p.s. Something you might find interesting...
Over on the DAZ forums, there is talk of how MorphBrush creates ERC JMCs that automatically turn on for when the arm is up or down. You can read more about it here:

Thread: M4 Eye Lash placement | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Okay guys, here's a little update.
I had a sitemail over at Daz about the lash problem from their head of QA and passed on the details to him.
I also mentioned the ThunderThighs to him.
Operaguy, with your permission, may I forward your renders and observations to the Daz QA while I got an ear over there?
blink blink
DAZ is going to fix the eyelash problems and the thunder thighs?
Thread: Problem making M4 Morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Extremely important step before any import/export: ZERO THE FIGURE! ZERO ALL HIP AND BODY X/Y/Z TRANSLATIONS! These will be written into the OBJ as permament deformations otherwise!
Or better yet, DON'T.
Use the original OBJ located in the geometries folder.
Also, if the figure's obj is welded correctly like an obj in geometries folder should be, you won't run into any problems with morphing across groups.
Once you are done with your morph, import into Poser with nothing checked.
Open the GROUP menu
Spawn all body parts
export each one as a morph target,
then load your target figure into the scene
select each body part and import the morph.
Once done, dial all body part morphs to 1
create a Full Body Morph.
Wala. Done.
I know it's tedious, but using Poser Tool Box helps speed up the process.
Thread: M4 Eye Lash placement | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've already made one attempt to slim down the thighs to a more M3-ish like shape in Blacksmith, but I want to make another try because I think I can do better. If it works out, I'll make it freebie INJ. What should I cal it: Thunder Thigh Tamer for M4 or Pantaloon Be Gone for M4? lol ^^
