I was gonna ask because if you are looking for the fold down cuff fantasy type gloves theres a pair for p4 male in the zygote costume cd thing from ages past. however looks like you can't find that at daz anymore any how.

hopefully it's not another lame scooter type thing driven via gravity and gyroscopes like the last big  " IT "....

I agree it would have been nicer to run the contest on the old forums .. but what can you do? I've given up on complaining about the conditions of the new forums. It has been made clear repeatedly that the staff has no concerns whatsoever about the user base and will not listen to user input. So, if complaining about it will accomplish nothing, why waste the effort that could be channeled more positively. I have a couple of little projects stirring. One is my contest. Another is looking at building a web page for the site SVDL gave me to host my freebies. I have a larger project looming in the background, but i don't have the motivation for it yet and it looks like it's likely to be a rather major ordeal :)

No i posted it here i'll host the contest here. Besides the issue only occurs on the past posts it's not happening on new threads. While the initial image is a bit compressed looking if you click on it you get a new window with the full image in it. So all in all this will probably suffice for this contest. though i'll likely not host another in the forums here untill all the "quirks" are worked out of the new forums.

so if you're having "issues" with cyber-bullying (so bloody lame .. we have a cyber-everything now..) rather than slapping the ever loving @#$^ out of your ENTIRE user base why not try wat most actual forum moderater do... 1) Create a user group called "banned" or what ever you like. 2) set the group permissions to not allow read or write access to the forums. 3) when you get a case of lameness assign this user to this grouping and voila .. this user's account can no longer post to forums to harras other users. Many forum moderators will set users in this "banned" grouping for temporary points in time accompanied by a pm telling them what has been done, why and for how long. Sort of a "time out" if you will. If the issue persists then after fair warrning you ban the users account and ip address from the forums or the site as a whole. I ave used this practice in several forums i've run and found that it worked rather well and my actual time spent dealing with trolls was limited to a short period of time locating them and a few clicks to ban-group them. It really takes not all that much time, AND your entire userbase doesn't feel bitchslapped by your admin team with an accross the board decision based on a handful or so bad apples. With as long as 'rosity has been in business you'd think youd learn effective PR skills. By the way if you can't tell i'm for returning the site functionality of search by username as well. Edit: the comment about counting plunder was a bit overboard...

i could do the Ipod with great ease, but i don't really know how i'd do the headphones i'm not all that good at posable props .. sorry.

Thanks for the advice. Upon further investigation it seemes posette has 1 full body morph (superhero) which no one uses. Other than that the only useful morphs are the breast morphs and in rare situations, a handfull of the face morphs. So it would seem for the most part that this isn't a major deal for now. Also poser 4 doesn't support pythin scripting. Yes i need to upgrade and i'm looking into it i'm just not sure to what and when and if i should hold off for poser7 or not. I do appreciate all the help and input that has been provided. you have given me a lot to look into and at least a good starting point for when i decide to upgrade.

the titlebar says market place because when the pages were being developed the phrase "Renderosity Marketplace" was put in between the (title) (/title) tags for each page, or it was dumped into a database field or most likely a config file. It has nothing to do with what server it's on it's a coding choice.

was just about to suggest the top of forum, link as this takes you to the top of the poser forum only. I'm picking my way thru this change slowly as well. as for "PHP rulez" yes php is awesome when it's done right as a php developer i spent a great deal of time running a second site called "testing.mydomainname.com" and having multiple people test new code before i pushed it out so that it was as bug free as possible. here's the diffrence. I am a web developer. The staff here are for the most part NOT. They implimented new software by the hosting company utilizing PHP, because the old forums had issues and they thought that this new software would resolve them to better please thier customer base. I doubt most of the mods or for that matter even most of the admins KNOW php. Thier job function here isn't to write code. It's to impliment it, and moderate user participation, in order to maintain a web site and promote user growth to increase sales in thier marketplace. Renderosity is a business. How many managers and executives know everything there is to know about production and development. They make choices based on the information provided to them so that they can make the best descisions they can for thier customers. Since loss of users affects advirtising of their marketplace products I'm sure the forums will recieve the attention they need quickly. So just bear with them.
