Just had it crash again using the Material room, applying a basic texture. I don't have issues with the memory. It would be nice if PP11 had a error log like Daz Studio.

In the email from Renderosity which followed this issue, the following was stated:

The new mail system is an important step in giving you more control over the mail you receive from us. Unfortunately, we discovered an obvious flaw today. This was a limited test, and we immediately disabled the new system afterwards. We have fixed the problem, and we are reviewing the new mail system to ensure this will not happen again. The security of Renderosity was not affected by this incident.

The security of Renderosity was not affected but the security of members was because mail addresses of Renderosity members were listed in the "TO" line and therefore visible to the reader. I counted over 50+.

I'm concerned because there are members who sign up to Renderosity that are here for phishing or spam related business and now there is possibility one of these fake members received the email.

I posted a topic on this as well today. If this is truly a test, then it's failed because I dislike pop-ups to point I won't visit the site anymore. A little difficult to do when you're a member (Prime) in my case.

In the past week, I've had 4 spammer leave their unwanted comments. Kalypso has been great in removing but it's happening so often now, I may have to stop allowing members to make comments. These individuals are ruining it for true Renderosity members.

It's not really an update either when the download reinstalls everything all over again, therefore It would be nice to have some clarification on whether the download really is an update to the program rather than a complete reinstall.

Hi - Will the updated Gorilla file be added to the 11.1 Content. I downloaded the files but the changes haven't been made and now I'm back to square on.

I too would like some clarification. As a user with a valid licence to Poser Pro 201, the initial information seemed to indicate you had to purchase the update to the PoserPro 11 (followed by updade to 11.2) . The link to the upgrade refers to a requirement following 21 day trial to purchase the licence in order to continue using the updated version. However, the information I received after my purchase appeared to indicate I didn't have to pay for the upgrade.

The newsletter from Sept 16 2019 stated the following: If you do not update, your Poser may not work if you have a version above Poser 10 because the licensing system will not be able to complete the over-the-internet check needed to confirm your license key. If you want your Poser to continue to work properly, you must update.

In email received Sept 18, 2019 because I own PoserPro 2014, I was provided link https://www.renderosity.com//mod/bcs/poser-pro-11-upgrade-from-game-dev-pro-2014-pro-2012-and-pro-2010/112660 which is the product upgrade to Poser 11.

My question is: Did I need to purchase the upgrade?

I used EditPad Lite to replace the pmd and obj. with with DuskSE format. The gorilla has successfully loaded! Thanks for all the tips.

The Duskse files I found but the the character gorilla wants the dusk.pmd file. I don't have the original Dusk character. It is possible to open the file with a editing app and change the name to the DuskSe file?

Thanks for getting back to me. My first email was mailed to the licence email (Dec 8) and last one to the store email on Dec 20th. Emails from Renderosity have been received in past, just as recently as last week.

My 2 questions are as follows:

I will be listing a few of my images for sale and just wanted some clarification on the prices listed under the Tangible Product License option. For the buyer, what does the range mean for them, i.e. $49.95 to $299.95 etc.

I have been signing the art I created but now after looking at other sellers, I observed they haven’t signed their art. Is it required?

Here are 2 examples featuring grainy and other, with fireflies. I just find it's a hit and miss with Iray lighting setting requirements. What's interesting is the character rendering qualify isn't as good as some of the background textures. I have to provide postwork effects to get softer looks in order to remove the graininess or fireflies.
