Thread: Vue pioneer, a good demo for Vue or ???? | Forum: Vue
Yes, but it has lots of limitations, no import of 3d objects (other than those sold at Cornucopia), limited access to function editor, limited number of plants, watermarks on limited in size renders, and a few more.
You could also download the free Infinite PLE, which will also have watermarks, limited content, but will access to all advanced features. It will feel a lot more like Complete (it's even more advanced, so you might miss some of its features if you go for Complete later!)

Thread: Memory Increase | Forum: Vue
Is it related to Vue use? When does it happen most?
If you have 16 gigs of ram, there's more than enough imho.
Thread: import objects in vue made in C4D! pleasee | Forum: Vue
Native C4D exporter will not create the .mtl file needed to access uv mapping and materials/textures.you need Rptide plugin for that. The free version is sufficient.

Thread: Re-use Indirect Lighting causing renders to take 6X longer AND adds noise?!? | Forum: Vue
You can always bake the indirect illumination on objects before starting the rendering of the animation, provided these objects are not vue objects (terrains, plants, etc), an dthat the lighting is consistent throughout the whole animation.
Thread: vue stones polygon count dependant on size? | Forum: Vue
Size is irrelevant in this case, the number of polygons would be the same, only the polygons themselves would be smaller.
Thread: Re-use Indirect Lighting causing renders to take 6X longer AND adds noise?!? | Forum: Vue
Reuse indirect lighting is not intended if thae camera is animated (at least prior to Vue 11), the added noise is the consequence of a non existant previous illumination. Vue tries to reuse what it already stores, but parts are missing, or are wrong, hence the noise. If immumination wasn't computed, then there is now way to reuse it. Vue 11 can do it now, because they changed the way this feature works.
Thread: explain the filter practical use | Forum: Vue
A filter is also a curve when using smooth joints (bezier curves or splines), if you're familiar with the way curves work in Photoshop. If not, I'll try to explain:
When you use a function, a linear filter is applied to it. Like the function, the filter goes from -1 to 1. At each point of the evaluated function, the corresponding filter point returs the exact same value, for example if your function at 0.5 in X axis and 0.5 on Y axis returns, say 0.5 (this value is arbitrary, it doesn't mean anything without a context), with a linear filter, the value will remain 0.5, but if you add a filter point at this position and move it vertically from 0.5 to 1, the corresponding value of the function will be modified with the same magnitude, so the 0.5 value becomes 1, due to the filter.
As a filter is also a curve when using smooth joints, it can be used to smooth out an animation keyframe, and for example smooth out a jerky camera movement.
Hope this makes sense....!

Thread: Thoughts on Cornucopia Club | Forum: Vue
You don(t have to pay anything to pot in the galleries or the forums at Corn, you just need to register and become a regular member. The C Club membership is not needed for anything. If you buy it, you get better deals on the shop, and access to a special forum, but I think that's it. Or are you talking about something else?
