Yeah, Poser broke the single node thing after Poser 5, it worked before then to just change a bump map or a diffuse, etc., but they changed something.

would be nice to delete unused materials from poser interface. (currently doing this step in cr2editor)
I think you can do this already, if I am understanding you. On the right you can click on "Remove Detatched Nodes" and that will strip them out. You can also shift-click on it and it will do it for the whole figure. Now, if you are talking actual materials that get loaded in by accident when you click the wrong mat pose then that is something different.
Thread: Anyone know how to get rid of the folder/file navigation bar that shows up in Zb | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Not permanent. Just close or click the lightbox button in the top (but not very top) left.

I think another issue is that most vendors want to be able to have the figure exist for more than a year. Typically, with the Poser figures, they will be dead when the next version comes out. So you get about 18 months of possible sales tops and then the next badly supported figure is released and soon to be lost in the shuffle.

Yes, things can out of clearance. Normally the clearance sale will spark a sale and then it will come out.
Thread: The gamma correction dilemma | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Ghostofmacbeth: Oh wow, aren't you the creator of the war orc model? Yeah that might explain it then. My min shading rate is at .1 when i render at the highest quality. Would you recommend i just scrap the specular map and try using highlights without it?Â
Very nice model btw =) The reason i'm persistent on figuring out this problem is because the war orc model imo is probably one of the best orc models out there period. It's just the specularity with gamma correction on that's giving me the problems.
Â
Yep, that is me. I like the spec map and I tried to do it the right way but you might give it a shot. I attempted it tonight but I didn't like the results.
Glad you like the model. I am on a bit of a deadline so my time is not much but I will try to get back to looking at a solution on Friday. I haven't messed that much with GC so I have to explore it a bit more, myself.

I think your render settings also have something to do with the way things are turning out. Particularly the min shading rate. Let me know if you are still needing some help. The War Orc was done before GC was really around.

Where are you seeing the lip morphs in the fingertips? As mentioned, the only morphs are in the body and head for a number of us.
