Poser, I was just asking in case you happened to run into how to keep the OBJ within Poser; thanks.

Got it! I'll test tonight, or tomorrow night(am working both but will find time;) and be back, here, ASAP!
I see, thanks. I'd heard something about Materials, but did'nt quite follow.
Do you think it would be possible, to do this(convert Figures/Props to OBJS,) without leaving the .PZ3(thus keeping materials?)

Hmm, I should have got this a couple hours ago, did you hit Send/Receive? I also checked that the e-mail I IM'd you is correct.
Wow; an .OBJ export, for the whole scene, would be a huge bonus for Poser user's too! I think, this is the best way to cut down on a scene's size! I know extra morphs are heavy, and I've been told Poser rigging is too. I'd definitely like Beta Testing rendering a .PZ3 scene, converted to .OBJ, with Poser!

Thank you so much for your time, please take as much as you need; I've waited...forever, so far! I could'nt say just how complicated this script is; but for what it will be doing, I'm feel insuring that this script runs properly will be very important?
Thanks again!

:tt1:
Wow, collectsceneinventory is my favorite script; and I've wished it would rewrite the .PZ3 o reflec the address of the new texture locations! And, yes, this will be great for working/reworking on textures!
Would you elaborate on the first change, I'm not sure I understand; other than now it will look through every added runtime? Could'nt that get a little labor intensive?
Thread: Converting 3ds characters to poser | Forum: Poser Technical
The Setup Room has a Bone Tool. I hav'nt used either, but this is what will make part/joints bendable/poseable.
Hopefully others will be along with tutorials!
I'd definitely like to see this process happen! Do you have any WIPs?
Thread: What program can i use to convert my lightwave model with textures into a file s | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"Adding the texture maps once the object has been imported into Poser is a breeze."
I need to give textures to a lightwave poly model in poser -How
stndesign - I thought you had the model already imported?

SVDL has been working on his server this week. He posted a couple threads:
Server woes: svdl freestuff will be down for a couple of hours
I just read the ReadMe, for removemorphs.py; and it says it may be redistributed. If you IM me, with your e-mail, I'll Reply a copy over?

Thread: Getting Background image into your poser 7 render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Fir still images I never have any problem with File > Import > Background Picture. I even think you can use a GIF, or AVI there(may need to do so from the material room though) I know what size my scene is a, and then crop my image to match ahead of time, of coarse; but I think this displays the background image best.
If it is a prop your interested in, I suggest you look toward spheres. You'll be surprised how well maps can be created for Sky Domes.
Thread: svdl's RemoveMorphs.py is awesome. i do have one question though.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
*" Does removing the "0" morphs reduce render time or at least allow one to render larger scenes?"
*Yes, and no. The amount of Memory(Physical + Virtual) is the bottlecap that develops when you consider the size of your scene in relation to the output size of your image. removemorphs.py, will not give you more RAM, but it make yous scene smaller, so you could output a larger render, Or, if the size of the render you are outputting is fine; then; by making each figure in your scene smaller, it will allow you to add more figures than were previously possible.
BTW - If you open the .EXC file, for the figure you are working on, with a text editor; delete all of it's contents, and save the file, then running removemorphs.py will remove all morphs set to 0.
