Jim: I know you use MAX, Bryce and Poser and Photoshop. What other software do you use? Specifically I guess what I'm after is: Are all of you rendering in Bryce because of the render engine? If you have MAX why use Bryce? Or, if you have Lightwave, why use Bryce? Thanks for any input,

You'd better call BBay and talk to them. They lost a lot of money through contested credit card billings...someone had stolen cc numbers and bought items through BBay. There are a lot of repercussions for the merchant...you lose your merchants account (and the money you thought you had). She's had software written to prevent a future occurrence of the same (she's very nice to talk to and VERY helpful). The merchant is definitely at a disadvantage as far as online credit card transactions.

I just thought I'd stared at my monitor too long, been up too early (or late as the case may be) or all of the above. The rendering of flexed joints is what gets me. How photorealistic can the final be if you have to do 2 days of post mortem (render) work? As I said, very new here g

It looks great, and imvho is definitely worth the wait. But I put quality as #1 always and I'm just feeling my way through Poser and others right now so take it for what it's worth g

Go to Baumgarten Enterprises (the link's here on the right side of the page) he's got a tutorial entitled "cheap trees"...extrapolate on that. I know I saw a tutorial online where a motion picture company did a similar thing and "faked" a scene where, I think, hundreds of warriors were either in battle or running across a plain. Sorry I just looked and can't find it now but search Lightwave or 3D Studio MAX tutorials and you'll probably find it. Good Luck

I bought it and it works fine here - I think he's just hairy g what resolution are you running your monitor at? Try 1280x1024 if you can and 24bit color
