What is ColorSync? I scan pictures into Photoshop, then do some tweaking here and there until it looks the way I want it on the screen, but when I print it out, it has way too much red in it... What is up with that?

For the best quality, scan them big! 600dpi @ print size (8.5"x11" is a regular page size). That makes for a really big image file that would take a while to download. You may end up paying for the download time and storage space... If the printer prints at 600dpi then you're looking at a nice quality. As for color management, that depends on the system that is being used, but photoshop comes with color management.

There is a cloth plugin for 3dmax that does just this. It can be used with animation as well. It is a bit slow to render depending on how many vertices are used in it's calculations. Check out the habware site...

There is a plugin called SimCloth for 3dmax. Can't think of the link off the top of my head. And it works really well too. It may only be for MAX R3 though....

You could get a picture of the arrow icon and import that into photoshop and place it on a new layer. This gives you the freedom to put it anywhere you want, even animate it!
