dethblud...... It was a hard choice.... andrelee had a nicer layout but the skeleton xray effect made it too much science oriented and this forum is more artistically technical.. my view..

Thread: Footprints in the sand | Forum: Bryce
Hello everyone, I'm in a challenge posted in Rhino forum and would like to get information/materials..(photos, diagrams..etc) on the subject of fantasy air ships... like zeppelins and Joules Vern's type of stuff. I'm using Bryce5 to render, so I thought someone here must have worked or seen materials pertinent. Links would be very nice.... Tom271

Thank you.... what I was looking for was design concept.. I can not recall with detail things like the design that was used in a Joules Vern's movie... you know..that waki 1890's flair look.. with the huge spinning wheels and steam coming out all over.. We don't know how it flew,,but it did.. maybe I need to look in some movie archive...

Thread: OT: My Eighth wonder of the world | Forum: Bryce
that's a nice place to live..... I liked your hotels and villas work..... your Island!
and you had a terrific time playing with website building materials....
What programs did you use to make this terrific presentation? can you elaborate a little..
can you tell us where we could get $14 Billion dollars too.... please...

Thread: Anyone seen this model somewhere? | Forum: Bryce
Maybe your suspicion is only half right.... perhaps the author of this model saw the same model you saw and sort of modeled something like it....
perhaps... he is the author of the model you saw some time ago.....
why don't you ask..... diplomacy and good manors will go a long way....

However, those shadows that lay infront of the lamps maybe be caused by another light source... you have to go to the light properties and knock out that source of light.....
nice lamps....

Thread: An animation rendered with Bryce | Forum: Bryce
I enjoyed watching the animation and I also looked at the site you have... very nice in deed!
you must have spent days making that "alone" sequence... I'm surprised it was done in Bryce 5.5... I tried to animate a few things and man is it intricate... I have to learn to use it correctly..
are there any good and clear tutors on animations in Bryce 5.5 you like......?

Thread: Lighting My Study scene | Forum: Bryce
I have not been around for a while so I don't know what you wanted to do originally with your study.....
Bryce's lighting have a "shadow" off/on and degree of strengh func. so one can ease up on unwanted shadows...... I took your image in PSP and reversed it.... nice study...

Thread: Multi-pass rendering | Forum: Bryce
I believe multi-pass refers to redering in layers... instead of rendering all of the image in one pass it does it in multy-pass... many passes.... as to exactly what does each pass renders and what does it choose to render ( of the same image) , i don't know...
I do know that certain calculations are done to render different pixels into imulating certain shades, colors and hues of an image... not to mention hdr and all the other good stuff renderers do...
Bryce does render in more than one pass as you may already seen....
hope it threw so light...
