Thanks bloodsong for the clarification. I opened it today and the symmetry worked fine. Why it worked today and not yesterday I haven't a clue. I did just do a swap right and left arms and it works now but it sure didn't before even after closing and restarting the computer. Ah another mystery...

The mysteries of UVMapper can best be explained by reading Steve's excellent tutorials at his site. Spend some time there and download his tutorials for further reference before you leave. It will all make sense in no time. If it's still a mystery after looking there come on back and we'll try to help out.Thread: 3-4-V | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

As someone who is a complete tightwad, I must say from my very limited playtime with Mike2 and Steph that my motheaten money was well spent. From all indications these are the most valuable items I've boughten since Poser4...period. The fact that you GAVE Stephanie away with Michael 2 was not only very generous, but a great way to truly enhance Poser for users like me who have only been using the standard figures and wanted to upgrade, but are cheapskates waiting in the weeds for the moment to strike! Mike2 and Steph are each worth what you charged for Mike2 alone. Dont think twice about the decisions you made regarding the Mystery Model, in my opinion you did the best possible thing I could have wanted. Keep up the outstanding work Daz, you've made me a believer. And to anybody reading this thread and still thinking about it, go and Get Mike2 quick before the Stephanie offer ends! You won't regret it.

Thanks scifiguy!, forgot to mention I'm on a dial up 56k modem if that makes any difference, and DAP has definitely saved me when I've been cut off or the site's have been not so great. I also have never had a problem with Daz so far.

Thanks for the input. After I mess around a bit more I'll post up something with my textures so you can all give me your opinions on how I'm doing.

What I do is import the photo as a background picture and then I adjust the morph dials on my figure's face to try and match the photo. If you're talking about actually making a model from the photo you would need a modeling program for that.

Thanks grahamjames for posting this message. I would also like to thank all the free stuff providers and people who make freebies available on their sites. I too feel it's important to thank them as they may not hear it enuf, and for them to understand that I'm sure a lot of us really appreciate their efforts but dont say it as much as we could. I know my work would be no where near as good and as fun to work on without all the stuff I've collected. I have learned alot just by using (or attempting to use) all this great stuff. I can't stress enuf to everyone, PLEASE always read the readme's to see if it's ok to use these items for commercial purposes (if that's something you want to do)and contact the creators if you have any doubts. The large percentage of them are very gratious and almost always give permission if it's not been spelled out. They also really appreciate those that ask. I hope we can all continue to profit from their hard work and we really can't thank them enuf! Ok, the soapbox is going back in the pantry.
Thread: A Poser Transparancy Reference Guide | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi geep, I got the cut/copy/paste thing down. I was just wondering if there was a way to paste it into a jpg or other graphics file in photoshop. Since the photoshop type tool is the only type related thing I doubt it's possible. Maybe the ol' "print screen" key is the only way. You know I must need glasses I looked for typo's and I still missed one, I didn't know texture had 2 u's! That must be the artsy fartsy pronunciation...
