The safest course of action would be to follow the same rules as for Victoria2/Michael2 morphs. You can approximate morphs in clothing that will not have the tendencies to give away the morphs. And always, if you are unsure e-mail Daz and ask.
Thread: Where are my pants??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have run into that before. From what I have seen, it only occurs if I have had my system on for a long time and I have opened and closed Poser a bunch of times. It seems that Poser is asking for more memory space and Windows is not providing the appropriate memory space. And Poser is not able to display the entire figure. Save what you have and restart the computer. That clears all the memory space that Windows mismanaging. You may find that when you open your saved file, the pants are still not all there. Just delete the pants figure and reload the pants figure. It should work. I have only noticed this on Windows 98.I run Windows 98 and that is how I fix the problem. If you are running Windows 2000 or Windows XP, I do not know what is going on. However, if load the file just after starting up the machine and it still does that, it is a different problem and I do not know what is going on. This should help. Willdial
Thread: I have removed many of my Free Stuff items | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you follow the link that ronknights posted, will see an image showing a comparison of what Daz DOES NOT WANT TO HAPPEN. Using Tailor to recreated Mike2/Vicki2 morphs WITHOUT the buying of Mike2/Vicki2. I am going to distill the information into points. 1. DAZ creates Mike2/Vicki2. Which are basiclly Mike1/Vicki1 with morphs. Daz wants to protect those morphs. For exmaple, if somebody who owns Victoria 1 got their hands on the morphs from Victoria 2, they could use the morphs without paying for them. 2. John Brugioni creates Morphing Clothing Paks for Victoria and Michael. They are the clothing paks with Mike2/Vicki2 morphs. 3. Codetwister creates The Tailor. An application that can approximate morphs from one base figure into a conforming figure. 4. People where using Tailor to put Victoria 2 morphs into clothing for ease of use and to make the clothing more usable. For example, I now have downloaded two Victoria catsuits that Victoria 2 morphs in them. 5. Somebody points out that a person could use Tailor and approximate Mike2/Vicki2 morphs from clothing back to Mike1/Vicki1. Effectively getting Mike2/Vicki2 morphs WITHOUT paying for them. Point 5 shows the problem. Daz could claim Tailor reverse engineers THEIR morphs and forbid distribution of clothing with Mike2/Vicki2 morphs. To protect their morphs, Daz would also have to pull John Brugioni's Morphing Clothing paks and the3dwizard's Clothing Morph Kit 3 because they contain Mike2/Vicki2 morphs and somebody using Tailor could get the Mike2/Vicki2 morphs without paying for them. All above has been pure fact. Below is my opinion. That course of action is not fair to John Brugioni or the3dwizard. They worked very hard to re-create the morphs in the clothing. Also, Daz would have to ban all magnets that mimic Mike2/Vicki2 morphs because somebody could create morphs based on them and use Tailor to approximate them into another character. Daz can not put the genie back in the bottle. Daz does have the legal right to control what happens to thier morphs. But, From what I see. Tailor automates what John Brugioni and the3dwizard did. Daz accepted those morphs as being different. Are the ones created in Tailor different from the base morphs used? I say yes. Well, I hope I made it easier to understand the issue. But, ultimately it is up to Daz to decide.

Orphea, I gave you a 10 becuase I love your image and to help off set the "1" you unfairly received. Your picture is lively and bright. I looked Mr."1"'s gallery. His images are dark and serious. Maybe he does not like bright and joyious images? But, all I know is that I love it.
Thread: 12 step program for DAZ addicts? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have poser addiction bad. It is so bad that I have memorized my credit card number including the expiration date and that 3-digit number on the back. I use Poser like a drug. I do a render in the evening to relax. I use it in the morning to get me going for the day. I purchase items in any Poser marketplace to feed my habit. What's even wores is that June was going to be my no poser purchases month. But, then Daz3d has their 30% almost all items. And then Visual Silence has 50% off all of her items. There goes my resolve and my credit limit. Lucky my credit card is my debit card so I can only spend money I already have. A very poor Willdial.
Thread: Whas wrong with my render? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Prinzeugen, From what you said, Poser has not finished Rendering. I have noticed that during rendering if you scroll the window past the point that it is currently rendering it will smear what it has to the top. Also, Poser 4.03 will for some strange reason it will put the rendering progress bar in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. You may think that Poser is finished, but it is not. You are making a rather large image. So Poser has not locked up but just taking its time. To speed up renders, You can disable background applications. I do this and I have a P4 1.7 with 1Gig of Ram. But, I remember running Poser on a Celeron 366 with 128 mb of Ram. It took patience. Patience is needed for LARGE renders.

Thread: Tips to prevent Poser hanging | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
FyreSpiryt, Poser 4 works great on Windows 98se. I am using Windows 98se and I have no problems with it.(And I agree with you about Microsoft's so-called alternatives) Windows 2000 does have a better memory management than Win 98se. But, Win2000 itself consumes more memory which if you are not on a top of the line machine, you will lose memory. Big thing is to follow igohigh's first point about turning off background applicaitions. Also, if you have wallpaper for your windows background, turn that off. That takes way too much resources. Best advice is to get as much RAM as possible. (Windows 98se has a limit of 1 GB of RAM.) This should be helpful.
Thread: Software pirate nets 46 months in prison! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Aureenna's right about people stealing software and not using it. At college, pirated software goes around more that VD. Most of the people there will never use the software. They just pirate because they can. Then there are people who who feel that software should be free. They work hard to break the law. StefyZZ recently had a run in with these type of people. They have no idea how much work goes into developing software. At college, when I was looking for a piece of software, I heard alot of "just download it off the net." By breaking up the people who distribute warez. They can cut down the amount of people who pirate. Now this is just a gripe. How come these warez sites never have bandwidth problems. If they are not going to pay for software, they most definately are not going to pay for the bandwidth to handle people downloading massive amounts of files.
Thread: Couple of questions about The Tailor prog. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
one wolf, 1. I do not have that problem. I have Tailor 1.03. Also, I have the stephaine update from Daz. 2. Tailor names the morph targets it creates with the name of the morph followed by an underscore with the bodypart name last, ei CalfFull_rShin. I noticed that Tailor will make extra morph targets in the wrong body part. For example, if I am copying one the breast morphs from the right collar. Tailor will make a morph in the right collar and also in the chest. So when in Poser you must make sure that you are using the correct morph. I hope this helps.

Dudes, Go to www.rbtwhiz.com and get Millennium Null. Use it and you will not get any crosstalk. I was able to use Victoria 2, Mike 2, and Stephiane in the same scene with no problems when I use Millennium Null.Thread: Help with a .SIT file on PC!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I got the very same problem with MonsterParts 2. I emailed them on Firday. But they have the weekends off. So they probably will not get around to fixing it until Monday. Which completely ruins the weekend for me. I do not have time for poser on the weekdays.
