Thank you, hborre. That is very helpful. What do you mean, though, by a "legacy model"? Please forgive me. I'm very new:(
Thread: What figures are best for Poser 11? | Forum: New Poser Users Help
Oops. I spoke too soon, Andy. You said "La Femme and Pauline were created especially for Poser 11" but who's product are they? Renderosity's? HiveWire's? Daz3d's?
Thank you.

Oh, wow, thank you, donnena. Following up on our thread, when you say "The Hivewire figures are more modern than V4 and m4" what do you mean by V4 and M4?
Is that some other figure? I appreciate your clarification:)

Interesting. Thank you.
What about "Morphs" Nails60? What if you want a completely different kind of figure like a "short and fat" person or very tall person, would you use the figures that come with Poser and apply a "morph"?

Thank you, guys. I appreciate the answers: Spookie, the clothing is in the props folder. What does that mean? Does that mean its "conforming"?
And, Andy -- how does one know if clothing is Conforming or Dynamic? Thank you.
Thread: Looking for a simple, straightforward female figure with hair and clothes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi guys,
I don't like the proportions of the figures in Poser. I have Poser 11, by the way. All the female figures seem to have the same proportions. I'm a newbie so I'm still figuring it out, though, and I appreciate the guidance. For example, if I pick a particular figure like Judy Casual, for example, how do I know what clothing options would work with her? I'm looking in the Poser 11 Content/Props/ Clothing and I see several of the figures listed but not Judy. I could really use help here. Would I go to one of the other female figure's folders and try her clothes on by trial and error? Or does every figure have clothes that is specifically made for them?
Thank you all. I really appreciate the help.

Sorry Andy. I just realized it changes to Ground when I select it- which I might do inadverantly by just clicking on it. Thanks!

Thank you! It worked. Can I ask you another question?
Very often the pull down on the upper left hand corner of the Preview window that has the figure's name on the left, and Body/ Body Parts etc. as choice on the right, for some reason, on its own switches the right pull down to Ground and then when I try to Orbit the camera around my figure I instead move the floor. Can anyone tell me why it's switching to Ground when it does and if there's anything I can do to stop it?
Thank you.

Hey - Thanks for the answers: By "I'd use another SM girl..." are you meaning "SmithMicro"?
