I guess it's a coin toss whether a person is Robinhood or realy just a wretched criminal. I  suppose it depends upon where we were born and what sort of life we lead. I've almost given up on trying to understand the world. However, unfortunately the world always seems to beg an effort from me to try to understand it. It's a Sisyphean task.

So far I have only created and uploaded free stuff here so piracy has no effect on me that I care about. However, I do feel for venders here who are trying to sell stuff and make a few extra dollars on their hard work.

I think there are probably at least two types of people who engage in and therefore perpetuate piracy, those that do what they do because they have no money and those who do what they do despite having money because they have no scruples. The former type I actually sympathize with. It's tough when you don't have money and even if they do pirate a product, it doesn't come at the cost of a paying customer because they couldn't have afforded to purchase the product anyway. However, the latter type, the ones who have money and still don't wish to pay for what they get do not have my sympathy. They are the ones who truly ruin it for everyone because they are a paying customer who refuses to pay for something someone worked hard to create.

Just my proverbial "2 cents" on the matter...

Also having a problem with some sort of defect showing in the material. No matter what I do, even when I smooth the object more in Wings3D, when I export it into Poser 9, these weird line shows up on the figure (see below). I'm stumped. Poser is driving me crazy this evening. :(

Hmmm. I see the thing but am not sure how to use it the way I want to. Basically this is what I want to be able to do and I used to be able to do it with BatchGen.

I have 56 different poser files to render. Each file has 10-15 frames. Each file needs to be rendered in a separate folder (meaning 56 different folders) as BMP files. I'd like to be able to click a button or whatever and have all 56 files render to all 56 folders overnight.

Is that possible with this "Render Scene" utility? So far I tried it once and it doesn't seem to render all 15 frames but rather just the 1st frame of each file. :(

Thanks, it turned out to be an "administrator" issue. I just needed to run with administrator rights.

Woops, just verified, it is Poser Pro 2010. Which is better, Poser Pro 2010 or Poser 9?

Well I went ahead and purchased Poser Pro 2012 for 89.99 at Amazon. Hopefully I'll be able to use it for Michael 4 at least. I have Poser 7 but I can't get it to install on my Windows 7 machine.

Has anyone else besides me had trouble installing Poser 7 on Windows?

Hmmm. When I click the autorun feature on my Poser 7 DVD and then choose, install Poser 7 I get an error that says it needs "elevation", whatever that means.
