Thread: Saving rsr's from png's in the camera folder problems? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
EB, thanks for the fast response. I am taking the pose files and putting them in the camera folder. I convert the pz2 file to a cm2 file by retyping the extension. Then I apply the pose to V3 or whatever character the pose is for and if the file only has a png. I try to add (+) it to the library so I can get a rsr thumb to go with my cm2 file. Like I said I have no problems saving poses in the pose folder like this to make a rsr file just seems to be a problem in the camera folder. In other words I apply a face injection pose then save it to the camera library as the same name the png was and it makes and rsr. But when I try to use the rsr file by clicking on it to apply the pose later it doesn't apply it.

Thanks for the heads up! If there are some of you who are having problems with the download, just single click on the link for the zip, after you go thru the pages's on Bat's site. Don't right click "save target as" and you should be able to download the file with no problem.

Thread: v3 face morph problem... ( not like female)..need help | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you posted the picture of the person you're trying to emulate maybe we could offer some better advice. Since we don't know what she looks like it's hard to tell you what to do. Otherwise I'd maybe start over with a face file that someone else has come up with or a daz face file that looks close to the person you're trying to copy. It will probably be more "feminine" and then you can tweak it to try to match the person you want. I'm sure it's the same approach you are using now but sometimes it helps to just start over. I had a similar problem with a female character I made from the old Stephanie that was based on the Michael 2 mesh and I even made prints of the artwork and I had some comments on it that were less than flattering so I know how this can be a problem sometimes loose the female look when you're trying to match a particular person.

Just a note on lost files that anyone's bought from Daz. I've had nothing but the very best service from them since day one. If you have paid for something and lost it, email them and I'm sure they'll give you access to the file or files you bought and you'll be able to download them again thru your account page. It doesn't hurt to ask and you have nothing to lose. There should be a record for every purchase you've made if you want to check what you might have lost and I'm very sure they'll grant access to files that are bought and paid for if you need additional downloads.

helpful hint, after you click on the picture and get to the link page for the zip do not right click "save target as". I did that and it didn't work. Do left click or double click and it will open up a dialog box for downloading like renderosity freebies do.

The Guubernator! What a coincidence, my friend and I just watched the 20th anniversary spec ed Conan dvd last night! I've wanted to do a Arnold/Conan render for a while now and this would definitely help. Pleeeease make this morph available Cath!! I don't know the legalities, I assume also you can't really sell it because of the "copyright" issue. Asta Lavista baby! Well Done!

Thanks for the explanation about the focal length. In one of my threads here I show how a figure looks "distorted" when I open the pz3 in DS. It's got to be because of this default setting. Once I did move the camera around the figure went back to "normal". Thanks for posting this.

I don't want to give the impression that I know what I'm doing yet. It's very possible that I'm the problem with why the camera view is as radical as it is when importing certain files. If I would have paid attention when I first started importing PZ3's, I may have understood what I did if anything. I'll assume Spanki and ronstuff are right and it's me that messed up a setting. I believe that the first file I imported was a S3 figure and she was not distorted like the V3 images I posted. The first time I imported the V3 file she came in looking like post #2. The only thing I can think that happened is that DS saved some focal adjustments and when I imported the new file it displayed them as I last left them. Thanks for your input, as I take a more scientific approach during testing I'll try to figure out if it's me or not. Probably me...
