Thread: La Femme Template? (for making 2nd skin) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, thanks, I found the UVs in my downloads already.Sounds tricky matching the legs islands patterning to the torso (hip) island seamlessly. Depending if it's just for some images you could "good enough" it. Maybe... Still, an unenviable task.
I took a closer look and yes, the templates are included with the LF pro download as a zip...
They have a bit of color coding... But nothing helpful to your task really.

Thanks for all this....yes I just came across SnowSultan's millennium maps (couldn't recall who was doing them)The only person, afaik, who made seam guides for the various Poser figures and some of the Genesis iterations is SnowSultan. These being actual SEAM guides rather than standard UV templates. Unfortunately it appears that she stopped making them before LF/LH came along.
Here is the drive link to SnowSultan's archived templates...
https://snowsultan.artstation.com/pages/seamguides
3Dream made some templates for LF/LH, I assume they are color coded by mat region, as his templates usually are, going by memory.
https://www.sharecg.com/v/95553/browse/11/Poser/La-Femme-+-LHomme-High-Resolution-Templates
The templates for LF/LH I have aren't color coded, if I remember correctly they were included with textures of original distribution. I might be mistaken. I may have generated my own using Mudbox (I usually use Mudbox for templates as it generates a layered PSD, with template, per UDIM uv tile while 3d painting. UVMapper Classic gets befuddled by UDIMs. In other words 'out of range UV data' warning... Unless you process LF/LH UVs via this freebie, which converts the UDIMs to legacy style stack single tile.

I believe this load uvs file process works also in free UVMapper Classic via the file dialogue. I recall generating stacked with the UVs file in Classic years ago. Of course then you have to separate everything to generate the relevant image file exports. A lot of selecting, dragging, scaling.
In any case I've recently purchased RizomUV software. I can't recommend this enough for UVing tasks... Seriously, I'm shocked how it unwraps things in a snap that I used to struggle to flatten out in Wings with tons of cutting, pinning, unwrapping, and stitching. It's almost like sorcery how well it works. Just a beautiful piece of software. And UDIM tiles with a button push.
But I digress. As far as how difficult it would be to create fishnet stockings for LF? I can't say. It would probably be actually easier to do it the old 2d image editor way rather than trying projection painting in 3d painting. I imagine you'd have to fuss alot with fixing overspray distortions in pattern as you turn curves. A bit of strategic stocking seam placement in your image editor, LF's leg seams run along the inside of the thigh (shown here as a red paint stroke on the model as relates to UV view)...

Yes that would be the best rout, I am using P13.You might be better off using a second layer for the fishnet than creating a second skin depending on which Poser version you have installed.
Thread: Morph INJ with V4-M4 not working? | Forum: Poser 13
THAT WAS IT!!! That Fixed my troubles! Are the morph packages in the same directory as the figure?
Did you run the .bat file after the installation of each package?
Both are necessary to get the older DAZ figures working, not just V4.
Thread: Morph INJ with V4-M4 not working? | Forum: Poser 13
I have had it that way since sometime back in 1990s (or whenever P5,6,7 came out..) never had any issues and never had any issues with P11 and P12 installed and running out of three or four external Runtimes.Poser is finicky about primary folders containing the word 'runtime' in it. Better to stay away from that naming convention.
Thread: Morph INJ with V4-M4 not working? | Forum: Poser 13
The .bat file!!! I seem to remember something about that....I think I tossed it thinking it was a DS file (it gets so confusing today and it's been a long strange trip!)
Thank you @parkdalegardener I will look into that!
Y-Phil: my two old runtimes are on D:\ - - Same as they where when I was had P11 and P12 on the old computer.
Trying to set them up to be one for people and one for environments/props and one for animals (three total...trying to be more organized this time).
@FVerbaas; you lost me there - "create a dummy Poser.exe"?? I have never done that one before.
Normally I just create a folder called called "Runtime xxx" then put my files in the way Poser itself would set them up, then once in Poser I click Add Runtime and point to it/them.
Is no longer a valid way, it worked up to P12 just fine??
****going back to find those .bat files! I think that might be the key!

You don't need anything from the previous version but the serial number. Well that and of course all your collected content.
I LOST my two old Runtimes on the drive that died...trust me, I tried everything to recover anything....GONE. Some old classic stuff is LOST.
But I have most of it backed up but will have to reinstall one, by one, by one, by one - Years and Years worth collected content - BUT all my textures, PBRs and others are GONE, will have to rebuild....Fun stuff...not
https://www.grc.com/sr/spinrite.htm
But before buying, it may be worth asking.
I've bought it long time ago and I've been able to recover and use an HD that was declare dead, even though with 2/5 of its surface declare bad
Thank you Y-Phil, I will take a look at that one!
I lost my external USB drive with all my home movies and photos on it a few years ago in a power outage - I tried several but not a single file could be retrieved.....luckily I have 90% of that backed up to DVDs......BUT, when I bought this new computer and asked why there is no internal DVD R/W on any of the new models they told me "Nobody uses DVDs anymore.."......?!!?? - -
I told him "I DO and I Want One!!", so they sold me a flimsy looking USB external DVD unit

Is Poser 13 going to leave Windows 7 users out of the loop?
Poser 12 has been working fine so far.
Thread: M4 V4 Full body morphs do not load | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, you have to load the Morphs just like any other morph.I don't remember very well as this was almost 16 years ago, but I think you have to run a .pz2 file that comes with the morphs++ package, and that will inject all the ++morphs into your .cr2 file.
Also there were times when morphs wouldn't load properly, or load but not work when you turned the dial, because your OS is running low on memory, close other programs. Restart computer.
Thread: M4 V4 Full body morphs do not load | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That is exactly what I have done for years, since Poser 2, never had any issues.I open the zip file, look for the runtime folder, (ignore Content folder) and merge with the relevant figure's runtime folder on my external drive I set up Poser's libraries. Works with every single daz asset I have and it carries over from one version to the other as all I do is reattach libraries to the new version. No reinstall needed.
