Is there nothing in an old-fashioned pz2-type MAT pose that will not work if it is renamed? In other words, will all the parameters and values tag along, or will the mc6 format make P6 ignore some of the contents?
If not, I have some serious (but very useful) renaming and restructuring of my Runtime/Pose contents ahead of me! ;o)

This is a bit OT I know, but some of the 'answers' in this thread are ridiculous. S'funny... my two teenage daughters, 14 and 17, have no restrictions to their web access. They never have. They each have their own computers, ADSL and lots of time to use their access. And they are sweet, gentle teenagers, not at all messed up by all the stuff on the web (I know this because I know them both very well indeed, I'm NOT an absentee Dad). They have a balanced view of life and all that it entails, they use swearwords when they deem it necessary, they know precisely what naked people look like, they read what they lke and they are allowed to have boyfriends, no problem. So far they have both shown a fine ability to judge others and pick the right sort of girls as friends and the right boys as boyfriends. They read books and newspapers, they care about other people, they fall in love, they get sad sometimes. Just like it should be. And they haven't started to rot, or turned into whores, or even gotten disillusioned with life. On the contrary! So, what's with Net Nannies and censorship and all that crap? Do you people who restrict your kids and make a bunch of assumptions about them and what's good for them have any idea at all what you're actually doing? When you feed them your version of morality or religious dogma, do you feel utterly convinced that you are right? You know for sure how everything should be? No, I don't think so - I think it's all just nonsense, based on the incredibly right-wing, fanatical conservatism rampant in the US and oozing out over the rest of us whether we like it or not. Wake up and smell the daises, man. Naughty words and naked tits don't corrupt and destroy kids. Not in the least. So what does corrupt and destroy? I have exactly the same problem, and have had it ever since I changed to P6. Extremely frustrating! Either I live with the default texs on the HR2 hair or I have to the switch by hand which is a bummer :o( Whether the hair is parented of not, and regardless of what is selected when the MAT is applied, it's the same. R Hatch, do you mean that all MATs will work just the same if I rename them to .mc6 and move them over?? Wow.. That would be cool since I have tens of thousands of MATs cluttering up my Poses folder.... Is all the code in a MAT .pz2 fully compatible with a .mc6 Mat, regardless? :] Fish
