Thread: M&M Productions Going North! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Mmm - here's a suggestion...how about some authentic looking horse tack for your warrior ? The vikings made plenty of use of horses in their forays. And has anyone done a realistic looking Viking ship? One suitable for a husky crew to sail/row into battle ?

One suggestion...give Dr Geep's great primers a section all to themselves. So us dummies don't have to go wading through all the forum messages to track down his most helpful tips ??
Thread: Michael 2.0 help please | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for those suggestions - to be honest, I've not played around too much with the human figures - my main interest in Poser lies with the animal figures...but I'll get there eventually :)

That "Grass" program looks interesting, must try it out. I see that they also have one called "Scatter" for cloning objects and placing slightly different versions of them within a given area. That sounds like it could have possibilities. Has anyone tried it out ?
Thread: Ancient human figures anywhere? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just a hint, but you said you saw them being done on a Nat Geo program ? Maybe a little research there might identify the folks shown who were making the figures ? Maybe, just maybe, you might be able to track down what institute they were working at when they created them ? I know it's pretty much a long shot...but...

Thread: Plate armor sets WIP | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Can't help you at all on the questions you asked, but just one little obsevation. I know it's only a WIP, but you need some way to get INTO the armour...you need a joint, straps/buckles down the sides. Also , one thing I've noticed in just about every set of armour I've seen created here , they all seem just a little TOO body hugging. As one who has worn RL armour, one thing everyone seems to forget, is that armour is not much use without some form of padded garment underneath to avoid shock and chafing
Thread: Charger, Eagle, and Buck now in the Platinum Store at Daz | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks AprilYSH and Hiram, I followed your advice and contacted DAZ, and I now have a credit in Platinum Club (*grins - not for long !!!). Thumbs up for DAZ...such prompt service , and on a weekend too. They definately get my vote for being a great company...more companies would do well to follow their example.
