that pops up when you double click a dial. Perhaps your mouse is "too quick" and you are issuing a second click on a dial?

sorry to hear that mdbruffy. If that happened to me, I'd certainly want something better!
Are others hoping for Poser 12 to fix a major deficit, of for some long-promised really-cool feature?

Why not sculpt La Femme into La Dude? You could do it in Poser, using the given morphs and the Poser Morph Brush Tool. From BH's morphs he obviously could have muscles. You could add body and facial hair to femme skin maps.

I wasted two clicks on this.
The REAL no foolin' is this: converting V4 into a weight-mapped guy.

evenhem is not interacting, so I guess this discussion is moot. the Cleland script for Poser works just like you described, Wolf. It seems like it would solve the original post. Does .fbx work the same way ... obj once, with texture maps attached, then ? for each frame?

I have that .mdd Poser export script, but have not touched if for over 8 years, and it was the copyrighted property of Steven Cleland from the U.K.
"Steven Cleland retains all copyrights to the enclosed materials. The Buyer is not purchasing the contents, only the right to use the contents.2008"
I don't know if it is okay to share it.
And of course, I don't know if it still works. It **did **export point cloud for each frame of an animation.

I didn't see .fbx included in what you tried. Poser can export .fbx, and it exports the folder of texture maps and a "texture atlas."
Would that give you what you need?
You can export multi animation frames, by the way.

"I have found that if I export as a .dxf, .vrml, or .obj (with the associated .mtl file) that the mesh in Rhino is untextured" Assuming you solve the grouping problem, can't you just export the maps from Poser and make Rhino "like" them?
There "was" a script to export .mdd out of poser and all associated maps, but I the link in the first post below is dead..

Well, I may owe La Femme an apology! I just loaded her in, and tried to give her bad knuckles from old poses. No dice! Sure, sometimes the fingers assumed slightly "off" positions, but no damaged knuckles like shown above for by me for V4.
And anyway, I looked in "Hand" for La Femme and didn't see any hand poses. I only have the base morphs. So I wouldn't be able to test the remedy, even if I could cause the damage!
Anyway, good for you La Femme.

Bill, I'm not sure that will work. If you find the problem with La Femme after applying a legacy pose, I don't know if applying a La Femme hand pose will heal the distortion. It might just apply the hand pose and not touch the faulty translations.

Patience, bantha. Things are simmering for Sasha.
Also, (and I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here ...) this script by Karina is not proprietary. He invites people to deploy his tech. Someone could post it for V4.2-DAZ and La Femme. I know I dearly wished I had a way to un-mangle V4's hands for the last 10 years, and if you apply legacy poses to La Femme, she will surely come up with damaged knuckles.
Would that be something you'd like to do?
