for whatever reason, the update blew out python within Poser 11... errors, and RDNA Terradome2 no longer works. Is it possible to roll back?

is there any way to find out where all the RDNA vendors went to? I see a couple at DAZ .... and a lot of the stuff from RDNA ended up in the Platinum Club ...

finally got V4 to show by using an external runtime for her and her stuff. Wonder why it all works on my other computer with the content in the program runtime?

thanks ..yes , I downloaded all those. Thought maybe there was another download of legacy stuff.

If you are using the Smith Micro Download Manager, your content will appear as several, separate downloads. Pick and choose what you want.

legacy content? is that at Smith Micro?

Under Vista, Win 7, Win 8, and Win 10, content is no longer installed into Program Files; it is installed into a shared folder, by default either under My Document or Users>Public. Only the core app will install into Program Files. Now, you only mentioned Poser 11, did you install your legacy content? That is separate download and install. As for V4, you are better off creating a new runtime and linking it to Poser 11.

thanks ... I've always used the runtime within the program files... even on P11 on my old system.. it always worked. I will delete and reinstall.

When you installed it, you must have checked the box that said to install the 32-bit files too, so you now have both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions installed.

The runtime in your Documents folder is where all your content is. I think only Python scripts go in the runtime in the P11 folder.

At this point you don't want to deal with the complicated answer dealing with node order in the Material room ... so I'll give you the easier answer: Snarlygribbly's EZskin3 at CGbytes (google it) and it is free and there are instructions on how to use it. there are several steps before it's ready, but it IS easier than building the shaders your self, which when you are ready is wonderfully challenging and rewarding.

face rooom..i had tried it last night after install and it stated the figure was not correct for the face room .. or some such error. just now it loaded right in... thanks..that should do it :)

well, if tha system takes 8 hours , mine will take 28 then :) not sure the upgrade to 11 is worth it to me then..at least right now. i cant run iray at all

I was wondering if Pauline and Paul are only included in Poser Pro 11 and not the standard version. From the list of content included it seemed like there was nothing new in Poser 11, but it said Poser Pro Female and Poser Pro Male (are they Pauline and Paul) If this is the case I would be very disappointed having used Poser since version 4 and the new people were always included regardless of which version one got. Can anyone verify this?

i am holding off until this is answered ... although unfortunately, the stock figures seem to get overlooked all the time.

good feelings..i have quite a bit invested in V4 ..I've noticed the rehash ... on all DAZ figures. I have seen mostly new releases here for G3 .... reason I was wondering. Dawn seems to be decent.
