Hello arrow1, I'm the author of the INFINITO plugin. The plugin allows to use all the props in your Poser/Daz libraries, but no figures can be loaded at this time.

Quote - I suppose that the deploying props are instances of the originals....like the coconut trees in your video But when Infinito export to main DAZ area how are the objets count and memory usage??
Sure it remains me a mix of Geocontrol and Vue d'esprit infinite which they normally are more complete (i use VUE since version 2)
But this pluging bring a nice opportunity to DAZ studio if using props instances to populate the scene
Well, INFINITO is the work of one person and is not surely going to compete against Vue. But I believe it will be a very useful addon to DS.
To answer your question, props loaded to main DAZ viewport will not be instanced, at least for now.
Instancing might be possible, but in order to enable that I need some cooperation from DAZ developers. If that will happen, I'll be glad to add it as a feature to INFINITO.

Quote - What a great looking plug-in.....I am very interested in "Infinito" and, it all looks so easy...
Hi, yes the interface is very simple to use and yet provides very powerful algorithms to generate random terrains and populate them. :-)

Thread: MAT poses not working for props ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks very much for the response: I asked because at Daz it's mandatory to provide mat poses, but I only did those for figures and now, that I was asked to do the same for props as well, I got stuck.

One thing I really would like is a tutorial on having a wxOpengl widget with Poser, with instructions on how to get feedback from the widget to main Poser interface, and back.

Quote - > Quote - Hi, check my wolf at Daz ( http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=11222 ), if it suits your needs.
How on earth did I miss your store!!!?
The fur on this bear looks so real!

Definitely picking up a few things with my next pay cheque before your sale ends.
One question. Is there a cub morph for the bears? Specifically the Polar Bear?
Hi, the Grizzly and Polar bear currently available are Poser only (because they use Poser dynamic hairs). I'm currently redesigning the whole bears family (Grizzly, Polar, Black bear and Panda) so that will be compliant also with Daz. I'll include also a salmon fish, and cubs for all species as a separate expansion... I'm planning to release the new version of the Grizzly+Kodiak in a week or two (I'm currently finishing textures and promo images)...
Cheers

Thread: Need a very morphable wolf! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - thanks papillon68, but I don't think his teeth or muzzle morphs enough. I think I found something else from a Lycan type character: http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/lycanthropos-species-2?item=11516&_m=d
I think this will do it.
BTW, I looked over your work on your blog site. Very impressive. Great work with the animals. Do you ever do any fantasy animals like dragons, etc?
No problem for the wolf.
About fantasy animals, I mostly prefer to model real animals, but who knows: I'm going to build the whole crocodilia family soon, and maybe in the process I might use the same base mesh to do a dragon as well, that seems to be a nice and entertaining character to do.

Thread: runPythonScript not working | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
I think I understood why it doesn't work as a .pz2. It needs to have a figure selected on the scene. So, if the scene is empty, or there is only a prop, it won't run.

Thanks BagginsBill, tried that but I managed to get it to work only if saved and used as a .pp2 prop file.
As a .pz2, it won't trigger the python script ... odd

Thread: Changing Alternate_Diffuse value | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Thread: Changing Alternate_Diffuse value | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Well, I managed to solve it like this:
actor = (scene.Actor("hutRoofLP_19"))
mat = actor.Materials()[0]
# find the material's shader tree and its root
tree = mat.ShaderTree()
root = tree.Node(0)
diffCol = root.Input(18) # <<< this is the Alternate_Diffuse
diffCol.SetColor(1,0,0)

Thread: Coming soon; Spotted Hyaena (Crocuta Crocuta) | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Thanks Annie, I decided to release the Hyena at a cheaper price than the previous figures, so it will be 9.99 instead of the usual 12.95 - 14.95 price range.
