I thought they paid out because they had advertising on the pages at some rate higher than the payout.
For example if they were receiving .00002 per page from ads then they'd pay out .00001 per view.
I found things like the Cyclorama backgrounds useful, and thought there's something for everyone. What one person or most people might not find useful or of good quality, someone or even just one person might need and want.
Hopefully not paying doesn't mean all the items on ShareCG will disappear.

For V4 with morphs there is a nice included morph called "Pear Figure." Dialing it negative gets the waist and hips down to size.

How about the following to solve or address the mediocre content problem?
Require downloaders to maintain a ratio of ratings to downloads, so that they have to rate at least 50% of the number of items they download.
Require uploaders to maintain a ratio of positive ratings and ratings period, so if they upload too much that isn't viewed and rated, or upload too many items with low ratings, they lose their upload priveledges or have to take down those unviewed or low rated items?

I have a weird problem with M3 that when the DAZ morphs are applied and any muscle dialed in, the left arm is warped. I even applied the update, but that didn't help.

I have to admit that since signing up for the lifetime membership I have had thoughts of Poserworld seeming a little dead.
But when I asked for one of their current clothing items to be made for another character, it was done. I'm sure WW2 can do a nice conversion, but this was just before WW2 and neither WW nor CC could do a good job with the conversion. What service that was to have custom work done on request for free, as a member.
I recently received the DVD and while looking around it wonder if any of the content on the DVD isn't on the site. Just as a feeling of disappointment at that started creeping in, I found some incredible face morphs for D3 and M3. They had elven ears which was a little disappointing unless I wanted to make elves, but then I noticed morph dials to remove those ears and to alter a number of new morphs in the face.
When I was looking for Roman or Greek armor and weapons, PW had some of the best.
It may be that comparing PW to what's available in the store at Renderosity, it seems PW comes up short. But then consider that for me in the first three months of membership there are already at least half a dozen items only found on PW or the best versions were on PW, some terrific morphs, and custom work done - I've already gotten my money's worth and I have a lifetime of free stuff still to come.

That was it, the Daz head morphs had to be loaded first for the new morphs to work.
