I ended up deleting the "missing" ones and adding them again and then placing them using a different camera angle vs the main one and they decided to grace me with their presence.

Here is a screen shot from one of my banks in Pboost. You can see I still need to organize a bit because DAZ naming isn't terribly uniform. I have just been too lazy to consolidate and know where the stuff is so haven't worried about it.It's really pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. You will want to make sure you get Correct Reference (free) as well and run it when you are done making all your banks and moving stuff.
Initially, I had to run it (correct reference) several times for it to correct everything, but now I just run it once after I install something new and it works beautifully.
there is also a good tutorial on setting up pboost and getting other utilities you might want for organization at this url http://www.ronknights.com/files1/index.html
good luck :)

Zander brings up a point that I thought of after I posted yesterday.
On another graphics board I belong to (for PhotoImpact) they made a little "critique ok" icon that you can place in posts. That way people know if you want constructive critisim or you just want oohs and ahhs.
On the next image I put in my gallery (I have a whopping 3 so I'm not a fount of creation obviously) I am going to specifically state that constructive critisim is welcome and see if that makes any difference.
If I suck I want to know, however I want to know why you think that as well. If I get "U sux" I'm going to ignore that. If I get "u sux because your shadows and lighting look like it's daylight, but the scene is clearly set at night" I'm going to be greatful for the hint that my shadows and lighting could use some tweaking.

Comments or lack there of is not the "real" problem with me. I would not be offended if no one commented on my work. Frankly, I am shocked at the number of views/comments I get. When I get a comment I appreciate it.
That doesn't mean that I think all my work is the end all be all and can't use improvement (I do realize there are people that feel that way, however). I don't post my images to get a bunch of ego stroking comments (though I do appreciate all comments I receive). I post images I happen to be particularly happy with the result. However, if I just want my ego stroked I will send my images to my friends who know enough to say "wow that is the best thing you have ever done" even if they think it's a piece of crap ;)
If someone that has more experience and a different eye sees something that, in their opinion, I could have done differently/better then I would like to hear that as well.

I almost posted this exact thread yesterday and then decided not to.
I wondered if you posted a version in a thread asking for a critique if you would get more response than you do posting as a gallery image.
Being new to poser I know my work needs...well work. I do appreciate the comments my gallery images have received, but I know there are things that I need work on and I'm not always exactly sure how to go about doing them.
I have thick skin and know I'm not an artist so constructive criticism would be helpful for me.
Perhaps as someone in this thread said I should put that in the notes when I post a gallery image.

Thread: PBoost Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have been pretty certain it is user error vs a program error that is why I hadn't wanted to bother you hogwarden. I didn't check for read only files, but I was able to move the offending files via windows explorer. I reran correct reference (not sure that was necessary, but can't hurt) and everything seems to be happy and functioning in it's new home. I can't say enough how much I LOVE this program. It was recommended to me before I even started getting much of a library and it has been the best money I have spent. I don't know how people manage without it. I'm very new to poser and would be completely lost without it already! Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. I am sure you are quite busy :) Towal

Thanks!
I'll try to move them with explorer first and if that doesn't help I will email him for tech support.
Like I said it's not a HUGE issue..just an annoyance. I love the program and would be lost without it already.

ok thank you. I don't have the Tailor yet. It's on my wishlist. I thought it was probably a little above my skill level at this point, but I am definately going to get it once I have a little more experience with the program. Towal

Thank you everyone for the responses. Everyone here is so helpful :)
Biggert: I thought about doing the shoes as postwork and may end up trying that just to see if I can do it. I was hoping to take the easy way out and find some conforming, easy to understand/use items. This is still so new to me that anything too complicated usually ends up with a render in the trash bin ;)
randy: Thanks much for the links. I'm going to do some shopping later today :) I don't mind paying for items and in fact, the mystikal dress and accessory pack were in my wishlist there so that gives me an excuse to buy them ;)
I do have the V3 hooded cloak. I was serious when I said getting 2 figures in a render was still a big deal for me ;) I was so happy I managed that and then got stuck on her feet so figured I would post and then worry about figuring out the cloak for the final render.
Genny: This leads me to another question. You can use V2 stuff on V3?

Thread: insufficient disk space to render at the current resolution | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I get this problem randomly as well. Using Poser4.03 with the memory patch. Running a 3ghz P4, 2GB DDR RAM, 2 80GB Hard Drives, 256mb GeoForce 5600 vid card (not sure that matters).
I have tried the CL workaround and find that it works at random. I also only get the error at random. I can render a few images (I'm doing 300dpi and ranging from from 3450x2700 at largest to 1950x1350 at smallest) and it goes fine then suddenly it throws the error at me. Rebooting, in itself, does not correct it which if it was a memory issue you would think that it would.
I usually have to check the computer managed button (or whatever it's called) and hit set, then go back and change it to 10/500 per the CL fix and reboot a couple times and then works for a while.

LovePyrs: I saw the trees and passed on them because I was buying so much. I think I will go back and grab them though since they are on sale. Your gallery pic is very nice! I got brave and posted a gallery pic today since it was the first person one I have been really happy with the skin textures and everything on.
xantor: I noticed on looking again that the little flowers are too uniform so I do need to change them. I don't have much for "ground cover" type plants yet so I will have to dig around for some more.
