Since this is somewhat related,(and this thread is already a bit astray!) look at links before donating, or passing on any stories. This week a person (or group) posted several pictures claiming they were of Tsunami victims at the time a wave hit. The photos turned out to be a Tidal Bore in China, but the worst part the end line asked people to donate to the Red Cross International. The link was to a My Paypal account with a Amaozon look-a-like page. If one clicked on the Link it brought up Amazon.com's donation page for the Red Cross, but any payment would have been processed to the associated Paypal Account. I reported it to Paypal and Amazon when I discovered it and the site was shut down and account frozen that same day. I notified the person that sent it to me so they could also notify the person that sent it to them. I was informed by the sender that his friend that had sent him the notice had donated $500 and several of her friends that she had forwarded the message to had donated money to the site. The Paypal Account was emptied every 15 or 20 minutes by making so called purchases using the balance (apparently buying with money added to an account will not trigger any of Paypal's safeguards against fraud). So, be cautious and activate the bottom status bar of your Browser so you can see where links go before you activate them or so when you get there you can tell that they might be bogus.

You can also convert Magnets into Morphs for use with other characters once you have the range set up. I know some of the Props that affect specific Body Parts make use of this technique to create the Morphs.

Base Figure does not have all the morphs. You need Body Morphs for that. Also, what you might be experiencing is Kinematics. Some people like the results better with these off. Also, try using the Dials to adjust instead of using the figure itself. I find that gives more control without affecting parts I have no desire to affect.

Thread: Animation Question? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Couple of things to try. One, remove any Key Frames in those last few frames. Another thing is change the type of Section Animation (Open Animation Palette) for those frames from Spline to Linear. Last, if this does not solve it look at the using the Animation Palette to affect those body parts for those frames.

Two things. You can get good looking Renders in any format if you choose the option of Current Render Settings. With that said, the choppiness may be the result of your Key Frames and changes you made along with the total number of frames. Try adding a few extra frames into the image or move the Key frame later. Also, you should be able to run the Animation without rendering using the Animation Control Bar at the bottom.

Modeling and Copyright of the original vehicle or product is not always an issue, but Licensing Agreements often are. Even then, Licensing Agreements do not prevent a third party from making and selling a model of that product in every situation. This goes for Logos, trademarks, and other unique features. Mak a model of a Chevy Corvette and you can be very detailed. Try to do the same of a Indy Pace Car version of a Chevy Corvette and you will have problems with the details, or even the use of Indy Pace Car in the name.

They need to have Chart. lol They recently added DAZ Original and Brokered Sort to the Premier Store. I hope they will do the same in the PC Store soon. (Little bug in the Premier where they still have the SALE tag linking to items no longer on sale due to the new Sort method!) The $10 is suppose to work on anything, but I ran into a problem with the last $0.05 not applying to the Premier Store and had to contact Sales. This makes me think that there is a limit to the Store Software when it comes to all the other limits of a Voucher! The $10 Voucher is good on all items, but it is still a Voucher and has the limits of a Voucher. DAZ has indicated that they will have replacements which leads me to believe that the issue is not with the Models, but possibly the Texture or some component of the Model.

The Bonus Items by the artist involved amount to just three of 24. As of right now, only 2 have been pulled, but I would not be surprised if the third was pulled as well. The Tank was not a PC Bonus Item. There are a few other items that may depart, but until someone explains any particulars the reason is pure speculation. I have even heard the rumor that it was a joint product and the other author/modeler is the complaining party. As far as the Voucher goes, the $10 Voucher can be used on non PC Items, but you need to contact Sales to allow that. Apparently since it is approved for PC Items, the Checkout will only apply it to PC Items. What I was told was to buy the PC Items I wanted and then contact Sales to convert the remainer to a standard Voucher to use in the Premier Store. It took one day to make the change. Remember, that the $10 Voucher and all Vouchers at DAZ are good 100% on DAZ Originals and up to 50% on brokered items. Some PC Items are only covered at 5% to 35% if they are brokered.

I suggest everyone ADD the word Contest to their images, all their images, since that seems to be the key indicator of what is being removed.

Thread: Is there going to be Sara 3 soon. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There is a little hiccup for those that join. You will sometimes get a Page saying Page is not available after signing up, but if you go to the Fan Club Site, you will be able to enter.

3DUSara = 3D Universe Sara. DW did the changes it is somewhat explained in the DAZ Forum. Many think the changes were to remove the simularities to GIRL. I take DW at his word in that he never really was pleased with the figure, but I somewhat doubt his motivation for choosing now to make the changes. Another figure to check out is Sixus' HER. The figure is free and the add-ons will cost. (Sixus seems to keep the add-ons from $5 to $15.)

FYI: The reason a lot of companies will not accept Visa for Annual Fees is due to the Terms of Service for when the money can be charged by both Vis and Master Card. DAZ's PC might fall into one of those things that they would have to hold the funds in an escrow account and only withdraaw for each installment. I have ran into this with some ISP's in the past. It creates cashflow issues and accounting headaches for the Vendor. Discover is a different animal, therefore different rules. ratscloset
