CR2Builder doesn't bloat files. It also uses a very efficient method of opening CR2s without actually loading the morph deltas into memory, so it won't become sluggish when working with large files. Ditto on using 1 RT + 1 SM light, or as I do, 2 SM lights, one with a high res shadow and another with low res. Like Richardson said above, use a RT light if you need to get better shadows from transmaps (shadowmaps do: 0.00-0.49=clear, 0.50+ = opaque).

If you're using Poser 5, but using Poser 3 figures for render speed (and they are still very good figures), you might want to just use Poser 4 figures instead, since they have the same polygon counts and should render with the same speed, with the added benefit that there are more textures/extras available for them.

Allowing commercial posts in some of the other forums generally works ok, since they are few and far between usually. If product announcements were allowed in here, it would become completely useless for people wanting to actually discuss Poser or ask/answer questions on its use. Just look at the freestuff, and how certain members choose to use it as a billboard for their commercial items. Instead of one general "add-ons for my MP product" thumbnail, it's page after page of junk which can only be used with a certain MP product.

If you're really determined to not spend money, Poser has magnets with which you can reshape V3 and M3 all you want for free. So where's the catch now?
