well, that explains a lot. I *am* one of those who has no 'natural' ability, the pencil/pen/paintbrush/clay never went where I wanted it to go..if it weren't for computers, I'd still be scribbling heads on pieces of papers. With computers, I can draw a straight line with ease, use textures, screw up and redraw as much as I want. here's my 'by hand' effort.

side note- check with the Terragen folks, they have some plugins that handle DEM's, and you can export the landscapes into Bryce..well, sorta..;) I've done it, tho..(the export from Terragen).

Heck, if I see something I like, I'll drop in and comment. If I see something I think is 'almost there', I'll make a suggestion, especially if it's a quick fix (like scaling, textures, etc). Spelling is a temptation sometimes (some of the most creative spelling I've seen is from artists..and folks like me who dabble from time to time..;) but I've mellowed on it. If it's just out of the box, and the person doesn't have a handle on the package yet, I'll pass them by, because I've been there myself (still learning..uh Wings 3d, Anim8tor, Bryce, Poser, and have a few on the back burner..;)
I'll accept any constructive criticism..you can say I suck, but only if you can tell me why..;) I've gotten some good pointers from folks, and it's improved my artwork a bit, so I can always be going up from where I am. Any feedback is helpful..so don't be afraid to be helpful..;)

to avoid comments, you just dont' check the box during your upload. Sounds fair. Warp cores are made of Verterium Cortenide, 'Canon' ships have them in multiples of two, but that's about as far as I go..;) I always get Petrarch confused with some medieval philospher anyway..;) this should work everywhere but the OT forum..;) Thoughtful and insightful..

there's some dedicated packages that just do houses out there for around $50-100. If you're in the US, check Lowes, big hardware places (they come and go so fast). Have a neighbor who got one to design his dream home. Oh, also, the person above me seems to have a better idea..aint that life.

I remember the original effect 'they called it 'bullet-time' was a semi-transparent spiral, reflecting the revolutions over time by the bullet. The middle one looks closest to me..the one on the left reminds me of blood cells for some crazy reason.

ahh..the only pic I have is about 50 pounds heavier than I am now..;) It's also pretty crappy..I'm still working on a 'vanity' pic (in the garage playing something complicated on the drums..;) From my old web page (done lovingly in Notepad and HTML..;)
